I have the authentci Russian 91 v2 with the new pin and my 510 connection part leaks no matter what I do to it. You pay 100.00 for something to have it leak is bull..I love how it works but the leaking is a issue for me. I can't find a fix and replaced the little black o rings and still leaks.

My wife and I have authentic R91%s and we've both had the same problem: e-liquid drooling out of the 510 contact screw (adjustable on ours), which feels extremely sloppy inside the inner screw. For us it's been intermittent, not constant, but seriously annoying when it does happen.

In the version we own, the teensy o-ring obviously doesn't—and can't—function as a seal. I'm guessing it's only there to prevent users from over-tightening the contact screw & slacking off the inner screw when you realize there's no connection, thereby allowing the upper block to spin etc. etc. You're right, it does seem like b.s. on a $100 tank.

I'll be checking out rebuild kits at the sites suggested. Nice to know there's a potential solution, anyhow. Helpful thread, helpful forum! :toast:

Well we should haven to buy a repair kit to try and fix something that we paid money for. I contacted the place I got it from and they are having me send it back to see what the prob is, I hope they don't try to just add the o rings to try to fix it, just puts a band-aid on a problem. If they do that then they will have to refund me my money. I have new rings and tightening everything down over and over and it never fixed. Seems to be a very common problem which I didn't find out to after I purchased it, if I would have known I would have waited to get the kayfun lite. I just couldn't find the kayfun at the time and course after I get the Russian everyone gets the kayfun back in stock, just my luck :)

Well the place I purchased mine seen it was leaking when they tried using it and they couldn't fix it.,
So they are sending me a new one but have a feeling that isn't going to help as all the places I have been reading from peoples reports have this issue.

What the KEBO company did was replaced the floating pin that they were having issues with the pin they had for the first Russian to try and fix a problem which evidently is only putting a band aid on something and then boom it leaks. I will never learn my lessons on buying something. LOL!!
