Alright guys.. I am back with another question. Let me explain my situation first!

I am looking for a battery/cartomizer/atomizer combination to fit my specific needs. I am tired of refilling my little empty cartridges 500 times a day to vape. Also, I have to carry around 3 fully charged batteries with me to get through a half a day.

First we will start with the battery.
- I am looking for two batteries (one would be better but I don't think I could find one at my price range). One that I can vape at home and one I can take with me to vape. I would imagine one with a passthrough would work great! I was looking at the JoyeTech ego tank 1000mah (with passthrough). It seems like a great solution to my problem! It comes with a passthrough already installed! One less thing I would have to carry around! Do you think one of these will get me through the day? I don't mind having to charge them at night, especially if I can just vape while I'm at home on my computer before I go to sleep! Can anyone give me an explanation on this?

Second I will go with the cartomizer/atomizer/whatevermizer!!
- I am basically looking for something that will hold a good amount of juice. I hate to have to constantly drip a few drops into my cartridges. It seems I'll get about 10 pufffs, then refill. It would be so cool to have something where I could put a few ML in and be on my way for the day! Heck, if I have to keep a bottle in my car for a just incase, that is fine. I know there are things like a dual core cartomizer, but would that be worth it for this battery? Is there something like this that fits nice with the JoyeTech ego Tank 1000mah? I think I saw them but I'm a little confused since there are no connection types (like 510, etc).

Thanks for your help! Hoping to pick up an early Christmas Present!

Happy vaping :vapor: and God Bless!

The Ego 1000 mah would be a good choice for a long lasting battery. Get two of them tho. You always need a back up.

Even the 900 mah Ego would work for you. Get two. You will need a new USB fast charger and wall adapter if you are using a standard 510 now, otherwise charging times will be very long.

For cartomizers, I would recommend Boge LR 2.0 ohm or SR if you prefer. They will hold about 1ml of juice.

The Resurrector cartomizers are great and hold about 2 mls of juice.

I think you can find the 900 mah batteries here: Electronic Cigarette Supplies & Electronic Cigarette Refills for Name-Brand Electronic Cigarettes! E-Cigs from LiteCigUSA and here E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings

Find the Resurrectors and Boge Cartos here: Crystal Clear Vaping

I'm pretty sure the Ego Tanks are 510 connectors. Be aware tho that there are problems with leaking and loss of flavor with the tank cartos. So I've heard.

I haven't used a passthru so I can' help you there.

...my best recommendation to you from reading about your wants/needs.....
KGO 1100 mAh 2 battery kit ...two awesomely strong batts, very reasonably priced...........
...along with the kGo, get 2R3 5 pack of 1.7ohm single coil XL cartomizer by Smok Tech ...great cartos which will hold near 2ml of juice and last quite awhile before topping up...about every 2hrs, I add upto 20 drops...they hold as much as 50-60 drops(with my bottles)...you can go longer before topping up but, these cartos need to be kept pretty wet for best taste/performance................
...short of going with a mod, this is just about as good a combo as ya can get..........

Thanks so much for all the recommendations! Definitely looking into all of it!

I've never understood what was the benefit of a box mod? I see some mods have battery AND little bottel for liquid, and some with just batteries etc.. Is there a box mod that has room for liquid, a battery that lasts as long as a 1000 mah, and a passthrough? If so, that seems like the solution, right?

Mods in general have all sorts of choices for batteries. For instance, any mod that says it holds an 18650 can hold something like AW Protected 18650 3100 mAh, which is 3x the 1000mah on paper, and the eGos aren't really rated for the use that most immediately go to with LR. The AW's will handle anything vapers can throw at them at that size, and I'm sure it'll last at least 4x as long as a 1000mAh eGo, and vape better as well. Those same mods can also hold a pair of RCR123 for 6v vaping. (my preference. I went from Riva/eGo directly to Silver Bullet at 6v with the tank and couldn't have been happier with my whole experience. Everything that was starting to piss me off about vaping just went away... People will look at you funny on the street, but... *shrug* They'll either come ask and you can talk about vaping, or they'll pass on by, go home, and tell their families, "some guy was hitting a .... on the sidewalk today!"... Whatever, but I digress)

My 2 favorites in this size:
Silver Bullet from Altsmoke.com
Post with a pic of mine
The constant companion of any tube mod, IMO, is the tank on top of it. Basically, you just poke or cut a couple holes in the sides of your cartomizers and slide the tank over the carto... Holds 5.5ml of juice and the cart stays wet all the time. Certain juices are a little tweaky as to how many holes and where, but in general, if you just cut one low and one high, you'll be fine for the most part.

Hod Mod built by a guy on the forums here, and the best looking of the wood mods IMO.
Post with a pic of mine. Inside is a 6ml juice bottle exposed on the door side. You just press on it with your thumb to push a little juice up to the atomizer and vape to your heart's content.

There are tons of others, of course, those are just the 2 out of 10 or so that I've had that I've held on to.
A lot of mods also use the 14500 due to its compact size (same as a normal AA)

I appreciate all your posts! Again, I cannot thank you guys enough for all of your help.. A lot of this stuff seems really expensive, tank mods and such. I would have buy batteries, chargers, etc for them. I'm not sure if this is the way to go for me.

I'm going to post some links, I hope that is allowed. It appears that I vape around 3-4 ML a day. A lot of it is at home, so no big deal.
I really liked the way this one looks. [Joyetech] Joye eGo T(Tank) Passthrough 650/1000mAh (USB battery) with Logo [A-06/08-1] - $16.20 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail--
It has a USB pass through.. This would be great for when I am at home on my computer. I could literally have it plugged in/charging while I'm vaping. Also, at 1000 mah I think it'll get me through most of the day, right? Also, it comes with a USB cable so I wouldn't really have to buy another cable/charger for it. That'll save me some money.

Now I am just confused on an atomizer/cartomizer that goes with this thing.
Will this thing fit? Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer

It seems like it'll hold PLENTY of eliquid for me to vape. I don't think I would do 5 mL in a day, but you never know. Also, I could pick up a couple extra cartomizers for around $3 just in case.

Again, I appreciate all of your help and have looked into it deeply! I know a lot of people say "Spend money, it'll be worth it in the long run." Unfortunately, I don't have the money to make it to the long run. If someone can find something that is around $30 (like the two things I showed are) that'd be excellent! I'm just at a difficult stage right now where money is tight. Thanks for understanding and thanks so much for your help!

There's no real benefit of a box mod compared to a tube mod besides looks. Personally, I hate the look of tube mods. Also, you have just described my favorite type. Which is called a bottom feeder. The bottle has a tube inside of it that is connected to the 510 connection. You lightly squeeze the bottle for it to feed through the tube into the atomizer/cartomizer that is attached to it.

I have several bottom feeders. I would suggest a REO Grand which holds 6ml of juice and an 18650 (1600 mah) battery. Or a Hog mod that also has the same size bottle and uses the same battery.

If you want to try a bottom feeder/Variable voltage. Then I would suggest a VV Army Tank V2. Which has a 3ml bottle and uses two 14500 batteries. Also uses a 3 amp/evercool chip. Which means it's a regulated VV mod as well.

The benefits of owning a bottom feeder is that you don't need to carry around a ton of vaping gear. It's very easy to use and doesn't require much maintenance. Which are very important features since I hate to fiddle around now at days.

These tank mods look excellent and all, but they seem to be just a bit too expensive for me right now. I need to buy Christmas presents for all the loved ones. I appreciate all of the help though!

I think I'm going to go with the Joyetech ego T with USB passthrough. Is there a benefit to having genuine Joye products? I think the reviews are great on them. Also, it is easy for me to get a wide range of cartomizers/atomizers. I think I'm going to go with the highest level mah available on these. Then I think I'm going to get Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer to stick on it for when I'm at home! It'd be great to plug it into the computer, and not have to refill at all!
Does anyone know who has the cheapest type of battery that I want? I'm looking around but it has been giving me a headache. Some say genuine, others dont. Some have USB others dont. I am pretty much looking for one that has the USB cable so I don't have to buy a charger, I can just hook it up to my computer! Or I think I have a USB wall charger already too!

Seriously though, thanks again guys for putting up with me! I'm learning, I swear. Sometimes this stuff is so overwhelming for a noobie like myself. It wasn't long ago I finally figured out that 510 was the connection type and Mah was the battery power :p

:vapor: thanks guys!

You'll want to use a wall adapter. Most computer USB ports don't output sufficient current to use for a passthrough... they'll charge the battery, but won't power it directly. Plus, if anything were to go wrong, you would probably rather damage a cheap wall adapter than your computer. :)

2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs
Is a good one that has 2000mA output, which is sufficient for pretty much any passthrough.
