Nhaler has them for $57 + $5.95 Priority Mail shipping for a total of $62.95. That's cheaper than China!

I'd link you directly there but I've got a few more posts to go before I can do that. He shipped it pretty fast and I'm in NJ (where he ships from) so I got it really quickly.

As a word of warning, the ones on that site are definitely DSE-905 v1, but I've had mine for about a month now with no problems apart from the "cleaning cycle" glitch a few times.

The 905 was what got me off analogs, so I've got no real complaints!

That's a great lead, Deena! I'd not heard of ValueVapor. Certainly a good price and your testimonial is reassuring ... although you have not yet commented on the performance of what you received. They say theirs is an "improved" and "upgraded model over the earlier versions, including the V3." Upgraded how? Is it a V4?

I was about to commend their price on the 510 kit, but I see that it includes only one atomizer ... and that it is a DSE510 (not that that is bad necessarily, but I don't know enough about it). I don't like their calling their kit: "DSE-510 'Joye Mini'" - it is misleading. Also, I notice that they only sell automatic 510 batteries as spare parts. I wonder whether the batteries in the kit are auto or manual; the description doesn't specify.

The V3.. because V1 and V2 as you know has the master switch.

The 'cleaning cycle' happens very rarely. Usually it's right after you take a puff and let go of the button that you'll notice that it's still getting hot or making a hissing noise, at which point you just have to unscrew the battery compartment. It's honestly not that big of an issue at these prices.

I assumed that it meant that the kit includes the v3 which is an improvement over earlier models. But I wondered if the poor phrasing was unintentional or if it was done for the purpose of being misleading. Never dealt with that vendor personally so I couldn't say either way.

I see. I hadn't seen any mention of a version newer than the v3 anywhere else and also with the particular phrasing of the statement it was difficult to tell exactly what it meant. Thanks for clearing it up though it is good to know.

It looks like there was a mix up during the switch to the new site but I do believe that price is for a body only. That is how it was before the switch anyways. I may be mistaken so I would suggest anyone interested checks with Hoog on his sub-forum.

Got my v3 at Welcome to MadVapes LLC for $39.99. No box includes all the parts except batts (about $5.00 ea). Works great and has never went thru the cleaning cycle.

I was lucky to win the Mad Vapes Contest at Christmas and received my DSE 905 kit from MadVapes.
It is amazing. Just seems to go forever on one battery. Don't know how I'm going to even be able to "use up" the 2 that came with it.

I asked for further details and this is exactly what they said:

1, The on/off button.
2, Atomizer improved. add a ring on the core...
3, fix the botton and improve the manual switch.

So they're still pretty vague on the precise differences between the V3 and the V4. The 905 Atomizer does appear to be different from a 901 but I don't have any of the older 905 Atomizers to compare. I didn't order any of the new 905 Attys in this current resupply and I probably won't in the future until it's made clear there is an appreciable difference.

It's a pretty serious problem. I've lost 4 attys in 3 days due to them burning up. When the cart melts its kinda serious. I have read though that the problem was fixed in the later runs of the v2. It was refered to as "revised v2". I hope so cause I sent mine back to NHaler yesterday to be upgraded. The one they sold me last week for $57.00 didn't even have the lining in the cap(v1 maybe?.
