Hi all...just started vaping yesterday and I love it for the most part..but hating the fuss of it, if that makes sense, lol!

Problems I'm running into with the JOYE 510:

I have to continually fill the cartridge after about 10 puffs, which can be messy 'cause the poly sticks to the bridge, then I have to grab it and stuff it back in which gets the liquid on my hands....then go wash my hands....is there a way around this?

Is there another e-cig that is less fussy? That you don't have to fill and charge the battery as often and has a great throat hit like the JOYE 510?

I have a joye 510 and a magna 510. I bought a pass through that works with both and that was wonderful. I vape so much that I was charging batteries after a couple of hours. Are you near a computer so you can do this?

As far as the filling goes, I went to cartomizers. Many people don't like them (they say they get a burnt taste), but I find them wonderful. They replace the automizer and carts. I keep a bottle of liquid near me. When I need to fill I just pop off the top of the cartomizer, add a few drops, and place the rubber top back on. The cartomizer are more money because they are "disposable", but if you don't let them get dried out they can last for a long time.

Just stop using cartridges and look into buying cartomizers if you want ease. If you don't want to spend anymore money then start dripping.

Use the blank cartridge with no filler. Drip 2-4 drops of liquid into the atomizer and attach blank cartridge. Now all you have to do is re-drip when flavor taste burnt or vapor production is loss. The only downside is the liquid leaking out and onto the battery, but this won't poss a problem once you get the hang of how many drops to use. You won't have to worry about refilling cartridges anymore, but you will have to carry a bottle of juice with you.

IMO......Vapor 4 Life = Simplicity and quality.

1. Buy batteries and prefilled carts.
2. Screw battery and cart together.
3. Vape away!
4. Discard empty cart(or refill) and repeat steps 2-3.

Just my :2c:.

**I like the mid-sized manual batteries. They last twice as long as the shorties and are not much bigger in length.**

To eliminate fuss I direct drip - no worrying about fiilers or cart mods just drip n go.
There is a truth you have to recognise if you're transitioning from being a smoker to a vaper - vaping is more hands on. There are no 'real' short cuts (you can get 510 cartos but I found them just as much of a fuss tbh, obviously YMMV), but there is experience and all the messing around we have to do gets a lot shorter with practice. Heck I can even drip in the dark now lol
I often imagine that pipe smokers would find using a PV much more easy than smokers as they are already used to dealing with equipment in order to smoke.

My personal preference is dripping. Carts are messy and have to be topped off just as often as I would drip anyway. Cartos... prefilled can get expensive and filling your own is too much trouble for me.

As to battery life, check into an eGo or eGo clone. As a heavy vaper, I'm able to get 8-10 hours on a charge.

All of the big battery mods that you see talked about, like my Chucks on the left.
Those batteries last me well over two days.

The bigger the battery, the longer it will last.

V4L... just as someone said it b4.. I find it to be the easiest.. A full cartomizer seems to last close to a pack of analogs.. me personally, I would find it annoying to redrip every couple minutes.. I can sit there and vape for a while so this fits me very well.. I have their XL bat which I reach for when I'm relaxin and their shorty's for when I'm on the go..

You and I are cut from the same vapin' mold!!! I too use longer bats for relaxing and shorties on the go. I have e-juice and empty carts on-hand.......but never use them.

It may be a bit more "expensive" to buy prefilled, but considering the cost of analogs.......I'm saving a crap-ton'o'money. haha!

rasch,
make a list Pros and Cons about your 510.

This may help you select your next model, or accessories for the 510 you already have.
There may be some things that just seem to be annoying about e-cigs that will never go away. If you let the little things bother you, constantly comparing them to the ease of buying a pack of cigarette, and a bic lighter, instead of looking at just how convenient it is to carry just a few e-cig supplies and vape all day.
Attitude.

Nice man.. I was like that at first with prefilled carts.. now I've switched over to V4L's cool carts which hold more and burn cooler.. along with my favorite juices, I feel that's the only way to vape for me.. I've realized i've actually saving money this way...

It's hard to save money if you splurge alot on new flavors and accessories.. It makes it more fun but if u jus stick to the juices and empty carts, i found it's the way to go..
