Hello!

I would like to have an LED mod, with a drip tip (just for aesthetics - it looks nicer :) ). As I understood, drip tips only fit onto dual coil tank cartomizers. So, I am wondering if I can solder an LED into a dual coil tank cartomizer.

I read this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-mods/191059-clearomizer-led-tutorial-step-step.html (which is closed, so I post here) about LED into clearomizers.
It states "Short leg of the LED is the cathode, it gets soldered to the base, long leg is the anode, it gets soldered to a resistor that then gets soldered to the center post."
So, I am wondering where I solder the LED in a dual coil tank (like this Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer, Purple)? does it have a "base"? and there is the cartomizer inside instead of the "center post", should I solder it to the cartomizer?

Maybe it doesn't work at all, but I guess someone here tried it or knows more :)
