I made my OWN LED light(flashlight mod atty) tonight, and it was SUPER easy!!!

Find a CARTOMIZER 510 does not matter, but find one with the fitting your wanting to use.

Get a LED from Radio Shack, and you can find super bright ones there. Any color you might want. I just made one with yellow.....

Take your cartomizer and rip all the guts out, and then look for the side that has the longer side. That is the one for + or also the center. Run it down the center of the cartomizer inside, and bend the outside to slide on the outside wall. Now I just used the LED fitting to hold it in place. Now solder(or leave it if you want) the bottom where the wire is coming out to hold the LED snug.

Now you can fill the inside of the cartomizer with hotglue if you wanted it to hold better. I didn't bother on this one...

BAM you have a LED light for your E-Cig or DBSB(or PCC just in case you need it).

Also fits inside my woody(Phidias) for a light when I need it.

The same system can be used for a lazer if you happen to have one(or want to rip out of an old DVD/CD player/burner).

look at what your battery voltage(not the static voltage but the peak when charged) is and before you choose and LED. Pick an LED that is close to the typ Vf(forward voltage) and NEVER exceed the maximum Vf. You might have to use a resister to limit the current to the LED if the voltage is too high.

Hmm this reminds me, I have few cree LEDs in a drawer, I wonder if I can get enough solder to wick on the inside of the case to use the atty case to get rid of the heat. 200 lumen e-cig hahahah

Most LEDs are 3.7v, but if you run them at 6v it could blow them. Not a deathly thing, just that they would blow out like a light blub.
