I'd like to ask about the LEDs that are on batteries. Do you think it's a good idea to get batteries that have them? If the lights were to get broken or just fail, will the battery get affected or will it just continue to run like a battery that has no light? I ask because it's the battery that turns the light on. Thanks

I'm sure that you would have a little longer life without the LED than with. The coil pulls about 1.25 amps each time it comes on. That's about 1250ma. A rough estimate of battery life would be to divide that down to amp/hours. To come up with a representative number for hours of life, you'd have to determine how many times you push the button and for how long. At any rate, the LED pulls far less than the coil.
OTOH, the LEDs average 5 to 20 ma. That's .005 to .020 amps. I've seen articles that explain the reason for switched output on LEDs. Switched output is like pulsing the button on a flashlight 60 times a second. Doing this electronically can lower the drain of an LED down to as low as 3ma by reducing the duty cycle or on time. Compared to the 1.25 amp draw of the atomizer coil, were are not talking about much difference with or without the LED, so enjoy the little blue light and vape away.

Months ago I received my first Riva starter kit form EM. One of the two batts trigger, (led button), flashed on one second, off for 60, perpetually. At first I was somewhat concerned. Emailed the service contact, he offered to replace the batt. I decided to keep the weird acting batt, just thought it unique and a possible conversation piece. That batt, not used frequently, just merrily flashed away repeatedly for months on end. Once a minute every minute perpetually. My habit, when I intend to use a batt, or carry for my spare, is to place it on the charger the night before to insure a fully charged batt. Have no idea how long it would take the led to deplete the batt to cut-off, but it's sat and flashed for months on end. JMHO
EDIT: I expect if the L.E.D. fails. . .the batt wouldn't care one way or the other. (My best guess).

Ok, Although what you say is a bit confusing to someone like me who doesn't understand electricity #, I guess maybe I'll try it out. I'm just curious if the battery with the light will continue to run like a good battery does that has no light ( if the LED fails). Periodically, I see people here who get very ...... off when the LED fails after a while, but they never say whether the failed light actually affected the performance of the battery. That's my main concern. I have eGos with no light and have never had any problems.
