I thought it might be a mistake on my part as well, but no matter what I do, it just doesn't feel the same. Observe these pictures I took of me holding my PV:

This is my right hand:
PVrighthand.jpg

This is my left hand:
PVlefthand.jpg

See the difference? When I hold it with my left hand, I have to strain my fingers just to use it!

-edit- I'm not even using a manual. I can't even begin to think of the mess I'd be in if I wasn't vaping an auto. Also, maybe because you're right handed that it's easier for you to hold it in your left hand as well? When I hold it in my right hand, it's much more comfortable in the sense of it being in my hands, but it just doesn't feel right if I can't use my dominant hand.

maybe you're holding it in you right hand like youre holding a cig but your left hand looks like you're trying to write something...

im a righty but majority of the time i vape with my left hand.. i think people who smokes or vape usually use the under dog hand(not your stronger one). and this is normal... as i look at your picture i see you're more comfortable with your right hand, it looks more natural, so im guessing when you did smoke you used your right hand rather than your left...

+1, but it is no surprise given the obvious superior intellect of lefties........
Unfortunately, given the inferior intellect of rights, they often fail to comprehend the obvious.

I hold my Chuck in my fist so either hand would do. I usually have it in the left hand out of habit. If, however, I ever held a lit cigarette in my non-dominant (aka right) hand, it invariably ended up on the pavement, the floor or the carpet. And attempting to tap the ashes from a cigarette into an ashtray using my right hand was akin to my performing microsurgery. The end result was never pretty.

Oddly, as my first Mac was a shared one at work, I use a mouse with my right hand. (PCs didn't have mice back then.) But I can switch to my left with about a day's practice. Other than that, I use my right hand on half a computer keyboard, the lower half of a flute, to cut my food and to bat (my left eye is dominant too.) And that's it.

Since we are going OT :) As a lefty, the first part of your statement does NOT apply to me!! however I can't vouch for all 10% of the human race that are left handed...

As for the gun bit, as a former competitive shooter, they do make left handed bolt action rifles (the bolt is on the other side). I have also used left and right handed semi automatic rifles ( the Australian armed forces had a left handed L1A1 SLR rifle for those that needed it when the rifle was in use). Using a RH semi auto is a slight distraction at first as the spent cartridge is ejected in your line of vision, but you soon get used to it.

I always wondered if my Ruger was "left handed" since they turn the "wrong way". LoL over here. Seems perfectly right, to me.

This thread made me laugh out loud and I almost started telling stories ... Like this one guy in jail told me that if you do something with your left hand "it feels like someone else.. " ... well never mind

Then there are some stories about some things I can't even talk about on here but they'd make you laugh your head off

Don't even get me started talking about left handedness

We need an uncensored lounge. I have some interesting stories one just can't tell on here and it honestly sounds like some of the most interesting people I've met in a long time are on this board!!

Would be nice to be in Hawaii, today!!
When I was on my way to LA I connected in DFW and ran into a couple of Jersey Girls coming back from Maui .. they told me it was just gorgeous. Someday I want to come and see all of the islands for a few months!

That's another story in and of itself, everything that happened at that airport... LoL over here. People kept buying me drinks and I kept drinking too many then I got to meet the captain who told me I couldn't fly anywhere "because I'd get sick" (he was just being nice) but they gave me some free upgraded tickets and a bed

I also spoke with an Asian woman who I think might be in some kind of organization, and I had to borrow a phone charger from some guy and I just had an amazing time at that airport I think I'd fly to there just to spend a weekend at the airport

I'm a little off

A helmet is something I would love to use to smoke handsfree, however I'm not too fond of how people would view me in public while i wear one.

This thread has made my week.

As yet another lefty, mine too. As for smoking helmets, Phillip Morris was all over that idea years ago!

http://www.angelfire.com/ma/ugo/Helmet.html

Just be careful while driving.

“We know dropping a cigarette on your lap can cause auto accidents.” said MASD (Mothers Against Smoking and Driving) chairwoman and spokesperson Ms. Hope N. Charity. ”Dropping your helmet could be much worse”.

Words to live by.

The problem is that the left brain and right brain aren't communicating. Your corpus callosum is miswired. Maybe if you let the left hand watch the right hand for a while, it will pick up the necessary movements.

I have it! you need an auto ecig. No buttons to press.

Refilling using those right handed bottles must really be a pain. And, do you have left handed tweezers for pulling the plug?

This thread has helped alot... I have spoken with all of the registered suppliers here and they are going to start stocking PV's and ecigs for the left handers .... I was also to mention should you need a left handed PV/ecig just add it to the comment section when checking out... tell them I sent you and they will throw in a free right> left hand adapter so your current batteries can still be used...

What if a PCC is right handed. Will the left handed batteries still fit? Also, if they have left handed PCCs, are they designed to fit in the right or left shirt pcket, as left handed shirts have the pocket on the right side? I have to leave this post now. My left handed keyboard is making my left hand hurt, as I am unfortunately right handed.

Dyslexically yours,
