Being left-handed has many drawbacks throughout life. We smudge the ink on our papers as we write, we can't hold normal scissors comfortably, I kind of wish I lived in a foreign country, so I could drive on the other side of the car and road. Shoot, we can't even use an iPhone without losing reception! We're stuck in a right-handed world that is just recently accepting us and adjusting products so that they're ambidextrous or catered to our left-hand needs. However, switching from soft, form-able analogs to a hard plastic PV has proven that the world is still lacking, or is it I just can't find the product out there? Is there a left-handed PV available? Or any producer willing to listen to my cries for a comfortable PV?

Well this one has me perplexed! How are ecigs not ambidextrous? I can't think of a single one that wouldn't be.

Anyway, I vape my Buzz left-handed about 90% of the time if that helps :D
I was thinking the same thing. Whenever I'm on my computer I usually vape my Chuck with my left hand even though I'm right handed.

I'm right-handed, and you know what I was doing, as I skimming through ECF before I stumbled on your post?

Using my PV with my left hand. Yes, it's a manual.

As far as I'm aware, there is no right hand/left hand style PV. If it's an automatic, it doesn't matter, since all you have to do is suck on it to get it to activate. And every manual PV I've ever seen has the button located in a symmetrical location (along the shaft, on the bottom, etc) that would be equally accessible from either hand.

I thought it might be a mistake on my part as well, but no matter what I do, it just doesn't feel the same. Observe these pictures I took of me holding my PV:

This is my right hand:

This is my left hand:

See the difference? When I hold it with my left hand, I have to strain my fingers just to use it!

-edit- I'm not even using a manual. I can't even begin to think of the mess I'd be in if I wasn't vaping an auto. Also, maybe because you're right handed that it's easier for you to hold it in your left hand as well? When I hold it in my right hand, it's much more comfortable in the sense of it being in my hands, but it just doesn't feel right if I can't use my dominant hand.

The fact you are holding it totally different has nothing to do with the design of the PV at all. Changing it would not make you hold it differently. It's a tube, period, the same shape a cig is. I never could hold one like I held a cig so just learned to hold it differently. It is the weight difference. I don't think many hold a PV exactly like they held a cig. You just need to get use to using something different, once you do it will feel normal to you.

Happy Vaping!!

Looking at your photos I would guess it is because you are trying (wanting) to hold the e-cig the same way you would an analog and I have not found a PV (other than maybe automatics with very short battery life) that you can hold that way. I suggest you check out some of the video reviews and watch how the PVs are being held.

I have attempted to mimic other users, but to no success. Right now I'm stuck to two different ways of holding my PV, the pencil grip or the monkey grip. Neither are very comfortable, but looks like I may be stuck with these options. I'll definitely be searching to improve e-cigs for all lefties, maybe I'll stumble across a simple mod.

What a mess! Well, judging from the pictures, you are holding the e-cig two totally different ways. I am ambidextrous by nature. I sign documents with my left hand and write short documents with my left hand. But long documents are written left handed. But I do everything else in life except write long documents RIGHT** handed. I didn't have a problem with e-cigs at all, maybe because I'm ambidextrous and I find myself holding my PV's in whichever hand it is most convenient to but I've never found any of my 5 pv's to be made for right handed people at all. I struggled with holding it at first because I wanted to hold it like a regular cig. That's just not possible unless you put a lot of thought into it, you know? It takes some getting used to for sure. I think you will find what's comfortable for you, it took a couple weeks for me. Good luck with everything.

You're tryin' to play us, right Z2? 'Cuz if you're serious you have problems other than your "right handed" ( completely symmetrical ) PV. If this isn't a joke all I can say is find a cause man. There is a lot happening in the world. I gotta tell ya, I'm not really feelin' the plight of the left handed vaper.

A PV is not a pen. In your second picture it looks like you are trying to write with it. What hand did you hold a cigarette in? Do you keep special left handed pencils and pens laying around? Does the ice cream man keep lefthanded popcicles on hand for when you want one? Crap, I hope that baseball bat I bought the other day isn't left handed......I won't be able to use it. If this is serious then you got a hangup in your brain keeping you from holding things the RIGHT way in your left hand. Oh, sorry about the rant too.
