Legal in Victoria?

Are E-Cigarettes and Nicotine legal to import in Victoria?
I just ordered a whole bunch but now I'm hearing conflicting stories on whether it actually is legal to import them into the country.
I really don't to be fined over some ridiculous law, what's the truth here?

You should be fine. it's not illegal anywhere, but Queensland health seem to have outlawed them in Queensland.

Exactly, quite a few people here are not quite understanding the difference between sale, possession and purchase. The law only restricts the SALE of Nicotine or cigarettes(analog). The possession and purchase of either of these nicotine containing products is not prohibited. My understanding is that this situation exists largely due to the tax implications on the sale of tobacco.

I dare say someone at Queensland Heath has a vested interest. As it really doesn't make sense for them to behave in such a way, in contradiction to why they even exist.

Queensland Heath says...smoke tobacco?? Where do I send my hospital bill.
