Hi I'm a newbie vaper and I am currently using a smoke TFV4.
I use the quad coil atomiser head as I feel it provides great flavor and smoothness.
The atty has been used until the point when it needs replacing, but I have no idea where to find replacement coils in Singapore.
I'm currently using the rba deck, hoping to order some coil heads from fasttech, but I do not know if it is legal to order and ship them into Singapore.

Aren't they just metal coils and cotton? Are they going to be confiscated by customs?

I would only be guessing but coils would probably make it through customs but Fasttech no longer ships to Singapore.

Yeah, I doubt customs would have any idea what they were (one could argue they're for electrical components.. which, technically, they are).

The issue might be finding an online vape shop willing to ship to Singapore at all.

I don't like the premade coils. I prefer to get rolls of Kanthal, organic cotton balls and make my own wick and coils. A few weeks ago on eBay I found a STEAL on 5 rolls of 26 gauge Kanthal and each roll was 100 foot. I also have about 200 feet of 28 gauge Kanthal.

I don't like premade coils because some of them the cotton is too tight and you get dry hits or too loose and leak and spit.

Thanks for the info guys! Im pretty concerned because I've heard of customs confiscating even coil master sets.
But I thought fasttech can ship to sg via malaysia post?

welcome Painbow:

I have a coil master but never use it. For two reasons.

1. My Goblin Mini has such a claustrophobic deck I just use the little free blue screwdriver that comes with so many tanks and attys.

2. I think my coilmasster is missing a piece. I got it with an extensive kit free for review.

I hope you are able to import the coils you need.

Thanks a lot bro, Yeap I do have 100ft of kanthal and 80 pcs of koh gen do organic cotton which ive bought from carousell as its definitely legal. Ive tried building like on YouTube, but its probably my builds are poorly constructed or just cant match the flavor and quality of the occ quad coil.
Practice makes perfect :) the more you play with it, the better you'll get!! Good luck!

I don't use Kogendo. I use plain old organic unbleached cotton balls.

Making a coil and sufficiently wicking those coils IS an art form, and the only way to become proficient at it is to practice.

Start with 2.4-5 mm inside diameter. That size is pretty standard. Use an ohms meter and build the same of very close ohm rating.

Nos the cotton you want it snug but not jammed in there. You want the cotton to be tight but still able to slide invtgd coil without distorting the coil.

Hi and welcome. I think, living where you do, I would learn to make them. The wire is just an electrical component, you can probably buy it locally and openly. Same with the wick. You can get cotton or rayon at a beauty supply store.

I agree. The coils I make are better than any of the coils I have bought.

I like my coils at .8-1 ohms
