thank you for everybody for the answers and for the advice.
You're welcome. By the by, here's another: It's taken me two long weeks struggling with the recurrent theme of Protank flooding to realize the obvious answer, silica sucks!
I also will try a rebuildable atomiser. they look promising.
I had been holding back trying RDA's because I have this love-hate thing goin' on with the Protank. But here's what, the small "Nimbus" 17 mm clones are killer. I use one with six air holes for adjustment, "The Forge". It's awesome. They marry up really well with slimmer tubes like the smok Magneto or the KTS China clone and produce surprisingly great vapor and flavor. Now here's the interesting thing. coils that you build for the Kanger slide right into these RDA's. Since most of them are dual-coil (three-posts), you can drop your high resistance coils for Kanger's (over 2.5Ω) right in there with little effort and enjoy a really great vape, at over 1.2Ω. Or use the one's you make. Make sure and check your res and use a fuse! I go with an 18350 and "Kick" on top. A roughly $65 mock-up total and kind of amazing result really in a stealthy aesthetically pleasing package.
Good luck!
