Funny enough I join this site, and the news tells about how they want "HARSHER REGULATIONS ON ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES" An started listing off different areas where they want regulations;
  • Places they CANT smoke
  • Who can sell
  • WHERE they can sell
yadda yadda yadda. (The list went on)

One of those liberal monkeys from San Fransisco (dont like frisco), was stating "Its as offensive as regular cigarettes, And I think they are as harmful as them"

What do you guys think the legality will be within say..... the next 5 years?
Think they will outlaw them?

welcome to ECF twilightdashypie ... I see BG paying the ANTZ in tricking the public into believing vaping is worse than smoking.

Then I see eliquid taxed on par with smoking ... then I see a choice of either vaping or smoking 30ml $100 bottles of juice or $100 cartons of smokes.

Then I see Vodka coming in more flavours than eLiquid ... IMO, the eLiquid market is about to be hijacked by BG and BT.

Man the media has ALWAYS been into scare tactics of "OH THIS IS BAD FOR YOU! THATS BAD FOR YOU"

HA! Vodka in more flavors than Electronic Cigs? YEAH RIGHT!
Although 3 Vape shops in my general vacinity have been shut down because "They attract younger aged want to be smokers"

Yeah they were around schools- but that UNFORTUNATELY is hard to avoid.
I mean ALL these merchants carded, but still the city mandated that they be shut down :/

That was one of the reasons for me posting this topic too

to a point i can agree... there are those "***hats" that like to tote big clouds - dont get me wrong, i like big clouds, but there is a time and place for that... and a dumb ginormous cloud in the middle of a suppermarket isle is NOT one of those times.

if certain people learned how to be RESPECTFUL, it wouldnt be so "offensive" to those who look "down" upon us.

as far as OUTLAW, i can see maybe 1-5 states banning them, but the rest will eventually be open for public use. it just takes time for people to realize whats in front of them. we WILL see a big change by the end of 2015, that i can gaurentee, but weather its good or bad i do not know.

Yes, real problems arise when laws and regulations are passed based on peoples' opinions, instead of facts. Not to mention when people get "offended" when someone else does something that they frown upon for no good reason.

It's going to be a complicated race. While the FDA and other govt agencies, along with BP, are getting regulations in place, at the same time the statistics are starting to show that e-cigarettes are significantly cutting into tobacco use, and more and more studies are being done which are showing that there are no real legitimate concerns about second-hand vapor.

It is unlikely that e-cigs will be "banned". However there is a very very real possibility that the will be regulated to the point where there is little or no choice on devices (cigalikes in tobacco, and maybe menthol flavors, all sold by BT), and prices (including taxes) will make vaping more expensive than smoking.

This is one of my most favorite songs, and in our little music circle we play it regularly. I have been trying to write up some lyrics to make a variation of this tune about vapin'! :2cool:

I think opinions are like belly buttons. Everybody has a different looking one, and there is almost always a bit of lint in them. I know I didn't want to use the 'belly button' version, and I'm sure everybody that views this post will know the other version.

I'm glad that I have some hard to get to property, and I know how to grow or make what I want if need be.

The bold in that second quote was added by me.

Ya, me too. Some folk seem too eager to want to place a 'bad label' on a thing or act that a few people use or do inappropriately.

There's a lot of "well it isn't a cigarette" mentality and while I get that to a point we still need to be respectful of others. And I don't see that as my rights as a vaper being compromised it's my rights to respect others and not expose them to something they may not want to be exposed to in a public place regardless of whether or not I think it's harmful.
