Oh it gets better. The searches today for news within the last 24 hours are just awful news with a ton of garbage like that.

http://news10.com/2015/05/13/advocates-push-to-include-e-cigarettes-in-the-states-clean-indoor-air-act/

But it’s not just the second hand smoke health advocates are fighting. It’s also the third hand smoke.

The Cancer Action Network says e-cigarette vapor leaves a nicotine residue on indoor surfaces, which health professionals said could linger for days, weeks or months.

“If you could imagine a child, so say an infant crawling on that floor or what’s contaminated with the nicotine, they can get significant exposure that way as well,” Dr. Mark Travers with the Roswell Park Cancer Institute said.

That one I didn't post. Was a little concerned that the more serious among us might actually punch their monitors. It had a local committee claiming third-hand nicotine vapor exposure from 'residue' on the walls and floor in NY.
Why are these people allowed to just make unsubstantiated claims?
I guess their attitude is to be proven wrong in court knowing that most people don't have the financial means to fight them.

I wish I felt differently, but for resistance in CA to work, it would take industry advocates waging the battle. I don't think consumers alone can do it, as they are outgunned. But if industry resistance can win in CA, then I would think we (vaping enthusiasts) can win anywhere. Anywhere in the US, for sure, and possibly on the planet.
