Lemo 2 leaking out AFC ring

Got a Lemo 2 recently and after the first few attempts at wicking, it performed like a champ.

However, as the fills rack up, I've noticed an odd occurrence. It seems to be weeping out the bottom of the AFC ring where the 510 is. Not a lot, but enough I have to remove and wipe it every battery change or so.

I'm suspicious it's a bad o-ring, but can't figure out how to get to it.

Anybody else have this problem? Anybody know how to fix it?

Make sure the fill hole is completely closed and everything on the tank is tight.
Losing the vacuum can cause it to leak through the afc.

I fixed that my second try on filling. This isn't the regular leaking out the air holes. It's oozing out the very bottom on the flat that touches the mod around the 510. It's like the AFC isn't sealing correctly.

Condensation builds up every time you vape in the AFC section, which is removable. I usually take that section off before refilling and dry it off with some paper towel.

Is there any way to remove the exterior ring? I think it's getting caught in there and I can't get to that.

That's the bottom section, below the base that holds the glass tank. Hold the glass the thin metal base, then twist the AFC open and keep turning in that direction and the bottom section unscrews. There is always juice in there after vaping on it.

The metal is pressed together in the base. I know this because I dropped my mod and has to use a pair of vice clamps to press it back in. So you have to take the pressed metal apart and then slide the afc ring off to actually get the ring off. If that's what you're asking.

My Lemo 2 base unscrews to get the AFC ring off. Another reason for leakage is that you might not be using enough cotton to stop juice from flooding the deck,thus juice leakage from the AFC. Or pulling to hard on the Lemo 2 and sucking juice into the air holes under the coil.

Are you tipping it horizontal to fill? I just fill horizontally, then as I'm closing the fill port I simultaneously flip upside down, that seems to work fine for me.

Other than that, wicking could be off.
