Make sure the airholes are closed when u open the fill hole. Then don't fill to the brim. The pocket of air helps maintain the vacuum. Once done you can close the fill hole and open the airholes. Should solve your leaking problems.
when ur wick is too thin or short, the juice rushes into the chamber and that is where it will lick all over the place. try to thicken your wick or lengthen it just so it fills the juice channels but do not exceed past the base of the juice channel.
Happened to me once I trusted a noob friend to fill the tank for me and the blunt needle was immerse in juice while filling so...

This. Until you have perfected your Lemo 2 wicking, I would suggest filling it 1/4 only.

As a user of the Lemo 2 since it came out, i suggest this:
1) Wrap a 3mm ID coil <- thats your first step, the Lemo works best with a 3mm ID coil
2) Put enough cotton through the coil so its snug but not tight
3) Cut the ends of the wick so they just touch the deck. The wick tails should fill the width of the the cutout space, trim if theres excess.
4) Use some juice to stick the wick tails to the sides (centre) of the deck
5) Put the lower chimney section back on
6) With a spare bit of wire or tiny screwdriver, locate the 2 juice holes on the outside of the chimney poke down between the outside of the chimney and the cotton in this area to make sure theres nothing blocking the juice channel. i.e. you want the wire or screwdriver to poke all the way down, gently pushing the cotton back towards the centre of the deck if needed, into the juice chennel hole to the bottom. Do not put the wick tail so it covers the juice channel.
Theres plenty of youtube videos on wicking the thing if that doesnt make sense

For me, i just trim the cotton after i screw in the lower part of chimney.
After then push the cotton down to the juice channel.
This can make sure the cotton is at the juice channel rather then being turn away when we screw in the lower chimney.

1.Tank in horizontal direction when filling.
2. Airhole must close full
3. Fill up to 3/4. Leave air pocket.
4. Observe the coil built and wick. . It's at a angle. Not direct aligned with juice wells.
5. Check the orings properly.
When set up properly.
This is a good tank.
Love hate relationship.
