Leo CE Dual Coil 1.5 Ohm - clearomizer without filler

My cartos finally arrived but I don't see any fill holes in the gasket so I just pulled the gasket out to fill . I did see what looked like fill holes in the small cap over the coils if that is what they are . Just vaped about 1/4 of the juice in no time at all so I can see them using a lot of juice but I have lots . Maybe ok for a different vape but I can't see them as an every day vape . It is a good vape though so far tons of vapor with an 80/20 PG/VG peanut butter juice .

Had my first one die today without warning. It did not last as long as I had hoped (maybe 15-20 mls), but at least it was easy to rescue almost all the leftover liquid. We'll see how long the next one lasts...

I found flooding is an issue as well as them being so hard to fill . They seem to flood more when they get down to 1/4 full . The heat produces a lot of condensation as well .

I don't like these at all. They taste awful and burnt, are a pain to fill, and have such a stiff draw it's like sucking a milkshake. I tried 2 different kinds of eliquid, and have now wasted it. I much prefer the Leo Dual Coil cartos. I'm a Leo fan, and was hoping to love these. Oh well.

I'm with you guys - Mine are cleaned and put back in their box, to be used in case of dire emergency only. Flooding, condensation, hard to fill - plus, they look pretty darned UGLY because the nicquid looks nasty in there. Give me my Leo Dual Core Cartos any day!

Doesn't sound too promising. Mine STILL haven't arrived yet so I can't comment. At least I ordered only a couple to try out. Out of all the dc cartos I've tried at 3.7 volts (and I've tried all the 1.5 ohm ones except for the echo), the leo dc's are the best imo in terms of longevity and flavour.

My second one of these is vaping better then the first. I'd still give the edge to the standard DCs, but these are moving up on my list.

Yeah, I agree evilfrog. I get a little better flavor from the DC 4ml cartos, than the clearomozer, but still enjoy both models. I didnt have a syringe yet, so had to hit the local Walgreens, and was a little surprised they even sold me a 3ml, 18 ga syringe. Cost me a whole quarter.

There are some tricks to using the Leo CE clearomizers.
1. fill to 80% max. Don't know why, but too much floods it.
2. WAIT 30 minutes before using the first time. This allows plenty of time for the liquid to wick up the dry wicks to the atomizer correctly.
3. vape light the first 10 puffs. if you taste burnt taste STOP, let the wick absorb more.

For some reason the wicks are slow at first to bring the liquid to the atomizer. Once its there you're golden.

These things are fantastic. Yes, they go through the liquid, but the vapor is a much more humid vape than a regular or dual coil cartomizer.

Yeah, White Stag should be on any Leo owner's list of suppliers. Thom has helped a lot of Leo owners. I know that I found his help invaluable when I was just starting out.

Carto 2 is going much better then carto 1. Pretty happy with this purchace now.... I don't know if I'll buy any more (I have a lot of old skool Leo cartos and DCs around still), but I'll certainly use what I bought.

Will an 801 Carto or Atty work on the Leo?

Not without a series of adapters: Leo-510 and then 510-801. I think Leo-510 is the only adapter from the Leo to something else. If you find a Leo-801 please post it here... I don't need it, but others might.

Not a fan of these. To me, the vapor is harsher than in the dual coils with batting. Forget about using VG juice in them; it just doesn't wick properly even with occasional tipping. Since I mostly vape 100% VG, I won't be ordering any more of these. If only the regular dual coils lasted longer with VG.....

I have not used them but have seen them around. Probably a dumb question but will the leo sanitary cover still snap on when using the clearomizer?
