He had been given a Platinum SmokeStik with a spare white battery by Sebastian Copeland of Global Green at a Pre-Oscar party. We have spoken to his publicist about what "brand" he was using and he comfirmed it was SmokeStik. Just Jared was contacted and he was good enough to change the credit for the "brand" to it's rightfull owners(smokestik) . I was told that Smokingeverywhere.com had called Jared to say it was their unit almost as soon as the pic was originally posted by JustJared.com. I like to see there are people out there with a good morale compass....Jared was very nice about it...as far as the "other" company goes...Nice try!! but no Cigar(pun intended)

Cheers,
Bill

Just waitin to see Micky Rourke with a 901 hanging from his lip....and A bottle of TW in his hand!:) The Wiz!

i just watched "Rainmaker" the other day. imo Micky Rourke should not switch. he's one of those guys that uses a cigarette in his performances and it just adds to the character. it's just so cool and natural with some people.

i hope it's good news for us that hi-profile people are getting turned on to our new hobby.
i really have tried to like mr. dicrapio (not a typo) but i just don't and i cant explain why. i think he's a good actor, but only as a bad guy. i think his best performance was in "The Quick and the Dead" because he dies. lol

This is exactly the type of publicity that E-cigs need.

Now let's just hope he doesn't fall over and have seizure one day for something unrelated to e-cigs, cause you know e-cigs will be blamed for that!

I'm glad it's been confirmed that he isn't vaping the Smoking Everywhere by the way, that damn thing would have him back to analogs by the end of March :p

Leo is the man when it comes to activism too. He would be awesome to have on our side! To think of all he's done for environmentalism and political action he could at the very least stir things up a bit! That's who we need in Dusty's documentary! I bet if he got a decent e-cig instead of the lousy SE ones he'd be an advocate ;).

Probably the most important e-cig news this year.

I agree, this is what e-cigs need to become mainstream. It's a insane how many people copy celebrities, but in this case it will be a good thing.

In other news, this week was the first time I've seen another person using an e-cig. It was a penstyle, so I know that at least he didn't buy it from smoking everywhere, which also means that people are starting to learn that there are other and better brands of e-cigs. I didn't talk to him when we passed to ask about the model or how he got started, because I'm kind of a shy person, but it was definitely an e-cig.
