when i started vaping about a year ago i went all wild and was crazy about 6mg nicotine juices. as i matured into vaping i started to realize that 3mg is better. even though i am now addicted to steep pop deez which is 3mg and 60/40.

sadly though because i am oversees i bought a lot of 6mg of which most are 70/30 80/20 juices ...

surely i would want to use these juices as they have been steeping for well over 6 months now.

what i want to do is somewhat lessen then throat hit from the 6mg in my rtas or even rdas so i got to thinking about modifying the coil.

my question(s) are:

what size coil should i make?
what diameter?
what gauge?
how many wraps?
and most importantly ... single vs dual?

While I don't mind diluting a mix by half, some might find the flavor lacking. What wattage and ohms are you vaping the 3mg at right now? I would try raising the ohms, build smaller coils and turn down the wattage. You might even find the 6 mg liquid lasting longer. Another option is to buy the Same juice in 0 mg nic and mix with the 6 mg to get 3mg. Can't really give you coil advice since throat hit, and flavor varies from person to person.

I feel that opening af, raising resistance and using a thicker wire might work with a slightly bigger ID coil. Raising resistance with a thicker wire will reduce the heat, along with more AF should reduce the heat as much as possible . But this could bring other problems because it's not how it should be done. Your coil now won't get to proper temp to get good vaporization, so you might have flooding issues or a lot of popping or spitting, but you can try it. You can also try a much thinner wire like 30g at a hi resistance, like 2 ohms instead, this might work better and also might lower the coil temp.
