There are a good number of ways to activate the bottom button. I can comfortably use either my pinky, ring, or even my middle finger. After only a days use, I think i'm mostly using the top section of my ring finger on the right hand and the mid section of my pinky finger when left handing. I can also get the switch to close by pressing the end into the cheeky part of my palm.

I've yet to play around with different throw lengths, but i have a hankering to shorten it up a bit.

It takes a little getting used to, but i can see how the bottom button is like riding a bike... after a little practice it feels pretty natural... i'm starting to like the bottom button thing... a few more days and i expect it'll be a completely unconscious effort.

On my P16, two spacers come pre-installed, and two additional spacers are provided in the mini ziplock bag. I've added one of the additional spacers, now there's about as much throw up to the horns as there is into it (if that makes sense). I think the slightly shorter throw is a little nicer.

After two days of use, I've gotten very accustomed to this bottom button... i like it.

Yes it does make sense VM. Now to someone who doesn't own a P series device, they might be confused but I know exactly what you are saying . Your overall travel is now about 2mm.
