Any similarities this has with anything is purely coincidental....

A few years ago made a creature called the tiyshaun. It was half monkey, half rabbit, three quarters turtle. Two laboratories were able to make this creature for me. Laboratory one made it for $33 and it was available with green, red, purple, and brown eyes, with green, blue, red, and purple shells, with orange tails. These creatures are sterile so there is no wary to breed them. Laboratory two was able to make these same creatures with blue, yellow, and orange eyes, turquoise, silver, gold, and bronze shells, with neon chartreuse tails. Only problem was they charged $333 per creature. From lab one was selling them at $500 dollars a creature, people kept clamoring for ones from lab 2 because no matter what lab 1 tried they couldn't get those colors right. Finally gave in to pressure forewarned them of the price increase, and carried them for $700. Needless to say they just sat there with the exception of a few color combos. 6 years later as these creatures were getting older and had run out of everyone's favorite color combo had to make a decision on whether or not to reorder.....

Just something to keep in mind.

This is why mix to order is the way to go, in my view. The slightly bigger cost is offset by having little to no inventory to go unwanted. Folks who are chasing the cheapest aren't loyal anyway, so go for quality and consistency. Huge biz decision there and certainly not what I expect V4L to do, but seems logical from way over here.

Most retail businesses try to get as close to JIT (just in time) inventory as possible to hold down costs. Maybe a faster, closer supplier would help achieve this? Or, possibly there is more than one USA supplier willing to bid?

Couldn't they keep lab 2's exceptions, the ones that did sell for higher? Prob not I guess. I wonder what the ones were that sold the best. And don't say silver, gold and bronze

You are correct! A very dark and meaningful song for those that spent enough time to gather the depth of the lyrics!

Morandir sir, I miss this place as well! I check in time to time to see how all are doing. I just don't have much to add, and doubt my chain smoking of analogs, with comments of how wonderful vaping is would be accepted, other than hypocritical! To which I have to agree. Sorry, maybe one day I can get the pain to tolerable levels and be able to get back to vaping again, God knows my Dr. would be happier!
Anyways, take care all, you are all in my thoughts and I owe you all more than I'll probably be ever able to repay!
