I was recently introduced to the idea of electronic cigarettes at a kiosk at my local mall. Having been frustrated with the traditional tobacco cigarettes lately due to the ever rising prices and my horrible smoker's cough that has only been getting worse, I was greatly intrigued. I tried one out and could see how it could be a good way to quit smoking, but thinking the $200 price tag was a bit steep, I decided to do some research and stumbled upon this forum.
After reading several threads and articles on vaporizing, I think I'm ready to make the plunge. My choice in models thus far will most likely be the Joye 510 as it seems like a popular pick, and is relatively cheap.
What I'd like to know first of all is what exactly I will need besides the starter kit to insure that I can steadily vape and not relapse back to Marlboros. I've gathered that picking up some extra atomizers would be a good idea, as well as some liquids to refill the cartridges. I'm curious as to how much one bottle of liquid will last, as well as if I will need to buy blank cartridges or if I can just refill the ones that come with the kit. (For the record I'm looking at the kit available on Cignot.) Also, I'm greatly considering getting the kit that includes the PCC because I'm constantly going out. I really don't know much of how the PCC works though and am wondering how well it works to keep a battery charged at all times, so I wouldn't have to go without while waiting for a hit. From the reviews I've read it seems the main drawback to this model is a short battery life.
Another question I have is in regards to the healthiness of vaporizing. As I said before, I've had a horrible smoker's cough for awhile now, to the point that my lungs and throat hurt for about an hour after I wake up every day. Once I give up the analogs as I've heard them called, will my lungs clear back up?
Well that's about all I can think of now, but if any more questions come to mind I'll be sure to post them. This forum seems pretty friendly and eager to introduce new people to e-cigarettes, so I look forward to talking to all of you!
Peace.
