Hi everyone,

Well first of all I am still NOT a Reo owner but hope to finally get one on the next run. In the meantime of waiting for that moment to come I watched probably every video there is about the Reo Grand/mini/woodvill and really every review is positive all around except a tiny issue that a lot are mentioning which is so tiny I wonder isn't there a easy fix to this?

The problem that some mention is that the door moves too much. When you put it in your pants the door could slide up or could otherwise come lose. I figured out that vapers are pretty much the new Mac Giver's so did any of you had a quick and easy fix to the issue?

I thought about it without even having one thus far so maybe it's not possible but couldn't you just put 2 small magnets on both sides of the reo (door side and front side) with the magnet on the door end sticking out 1 or 2 inch and connect it with a nice solid rubber band? That way the door won't move and you can just unclip it to change the bat or juice.

A rubber band would "taint" the aesthetics of such a beautiful piece of work. The doors on my Woodvil, my Grand, and my Mini all work just fine, so maybe those reviews are older and maybe the problem has already been fixed. I got all of my REOs within the past two months and they're all perfect (and I mean PERFECT) so I'm thinking there is no longer a problem.

Love your observation that we vapers are the new MacGivers....that's pretty true and pretty funny. But of all the pvs I've owned (lots) I can say that the REOs are the ones that require almost NO fiddling at all. They just work. Period. You'll see.....

A wrap of electrical tape with a pull tab on your batteries snugs up the door and eliminates rattling and makes it very easy to remove your batteries.

When removing your Mini from your pocket, grab the door side and it won't slide off.

Thanks mud first I need to get a reo before I can slide anything out of my pocket lol. Let me know when you get the package please. :)

The mini is the closest thing to a perfect mod I have ever built. There is only one thing I would change that is to make a tube replacement easier . I have fixed this issue on the grand but on the mini it would cost to much to have the part made that would remedy this. The door rattle is not a big deal it will only rattle if your making it rattle imo it certainly wont rattle while your running it. You have to hold it by its side and shake it to get a rattle and this inst all of them. Some of the rattle comes from newbs not realizing there bottle isn't sitting on the bottom of the mod. A simple fix would be a little super glue on the bottom of the mod were the door makes contact run your finger over it done never rattle again, I think mlinky hit it on the head reviewers have to find something they would change. I can look at any mod tool truck car house and find something I would change .

I am really looking forward to finally get my hands on one of your master pieces on Wednesday. If For any reason I will miss out on getting one yet again I will come to maine and sit in front of your office in my chair not leaving until I get my Reo :(.

Sorry but after 4 weeks of waiting for the moment to come I have to use drastic measures. Best part about it all is the one day you put new reos up for sale is my graduation day. As long as it stays 7pm for the sale I should be ready.

Unless of course I can send you the cash for a Reo Grand Black/Black right now to make it a pre order I include some tip lol.

My old Mini door rattled a lot more than normal so I ever so slightly not even noticeable to the eye bent the door. It never rattled again and you couldn't even expect that i did it but I don't recommend that to anyone. I've seen someone put a piece of tape on the inside bottom of the door and it was fixed.

i agree, i used a very small piece of duct tape at the very bottom of the door (dont go all the way to the sides or its too thick to fit in the groove) no rattle and really snugged up the door :)

I put a smal piece of 1/8" thick self adhesive weatherstrip behind the bottle in my REO's. It pushes the bottle lightly against the door and eliminates the minimal door rattle i've had.

That's an excellent idea dude.
Though I've never noticed a rattle. Robert is right that most of the time it's the user not making sure the bottle is down against the bottom of the mod.
