It's fun to use in the car even though at the high 4.2v setting it doesn't burn as hot as when I have a freshly charged battery. I tried pulling the center pin up with tweezers but it didn't help much. From what I read, these break easily and don't last that long.
Either a pt or a spare battery charger seems like an essential piece of kit for a newbie to have. The other night I didn't have anything charged and I smoked more analogs than usual, this should come in handy for times like that.
