5 Pawns and SV teamed up. It's pretty. Don't want one, but it's very pretty.

Yeah, Shinyitis almost kicked in when I saw the 5 Pawns KFL, but I kept it in check by reminding myself that the new one is just around the corner..

Let's see if this works..

Bah!! does not embed right. Click on the image to see the video please..

Wow, Dust. You look like a freaking bouncer. Ever work as one by any chance?

One thing's for sure. I'll never mess around with you again. I don't wanna risk an asswhooping. LOL! :D

Anyway, do you still like KillrY4? It was out of stock for a long time the first time you suggested it, and now that it's back, perhaps your opinion on it has changed. Now that I'm using the KFM, I'm more open to trying other NETs as long as they're not nasty tasting. Something like HHV perhaps. Any other recommendations?

LOL.. don't let me make up your mind for you. Here's my thoughts on a few others that I've tried: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1folBvDP5F7PaCi1gg4SWiX0uEdhE-zBfyOck_9Y80JQ/edit?usp=sharing

I've only been a "bouncer" on ECF and I'm only dangerous to Spammers and disgruntled ex-members. I don't think you have anything to worry about.. :)

As for KillrY4, yes, I do still like it. My opinion on it remains unchanged!

I might be going back and taking another look at that 5 Prawns after all. This morning (4AM) I was up early and decided to clean out a couple tanks to fill up with new juice from NET.com. While I had the KFL+ clone torn apart I figured it was time to ream out the air hole to 1/16 and see if I could get more air and less whistle. Clamped the atty up in a vice got out the drill and set it all up.

What was I thinking? Four o'clock in the morning, Mama Chak still snoozing away, water for coffee not quite hot yet and I'm gonna drill out the air intake?! Should have drilled a hole in my head & let in some light! Eff it, here goes... whizz, whizz, whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii........! Huh? Ot damn! Freakin' bit broke off in the hole.

I'll try tapping or drilling it out later, for the time being I filed off the nib that was sticking out and removed the AFC screw on the bottom. What ticks me off most is the damn thing still whistles!!!

Well, as long as we're in atty destruction mode, I may as well show what happened a couple of days ago...

erlk_crushed.jpg

Shut my lift gate right smack onto the ErlK. None of the metal parts were damaged and I was able to use my nano tank with it. I want more juice capacity so I'm waiting for a replacement tank.

Sorry about that. It really is OK, though since I have the nano kit running on it.

erlkoenigin.com is out of stock of 22mm SS tanks and I won't pay the price to get one of their plastic tanks delivered here, so I ordered a glass tank from IBtanked. I think I'll like it better anyway.

Next time wait till after you have the first cup of coffee. The air intake hole on my Ehpro clones was 1/16 and I drilled them to 5/64 with no problem. I also ran the 1/16 through the post on one and the other I drilled the post to 5/64. The 5/64 one I'm not sure about. It changed the pressure and makes it gurgle so I have to close the screw some. I think I'll have to adjust the amount of wick in the wells.

Nice work Twist!

And I'm so gentle with my gear. Er, wait a minute . . .

  1. Dibi Sumpin' broken (glued back together)
  2. EA lost on boat (recovered)
  3. Vamo overboard
  4. Erlkönigin plastic tank smashed
  5. R91 plastic tank broken
  6. Cyclone threads munged (repaired)

I guess that's not such a great track record.:(

No, Sir...that is not a great track record. Puts you in the Spaz category actually. :)

Yeah, a cup of coffee would have helped.
It's really hard to find decent drill bits here. I also should have been using it at a higher speed - I slowed down and it caught hold. Not to mention drilling at 4AM is not conducive for sleeping household members.

I'm surprised she didn't throw you in the doghouse. Don't worry...plenty more opportunities for that.

Norman, Ok
Like many here, I couldn't help myself from ordering a new mod either. I didn't get the lastest thing, or the biggest ... or the most powerful. I went for one of the smaller DNA's instead... the Vaporshark DNA 30. It was actually all of the talk ( elsewhere ) about the little iStick that got me thinking about having a small easy to carry mod. The A-Mod ZNA clone I've got ( and like a lot ) was still a heavy beast to carry as is the Vamo 30w I got before it... So I'm going to relegate my Vamo 30w to work, the A-Mod to the house and the Vaporshark for carrying everywhere else... The main deciding factor was when I found out they now have these listed for only $120 on Vaporshark's website...

That's a good pickup. I've been eyeing that Vaporshark for a long time. Thought if I did, I'd get the rDNA40. I really like the small profile.
