Nice looking stuff there.. What's the main difference you find with the juices running at 10.5 vs 25W?!

I'm really not noticing a lot of flavor differences... just that it's hitting harder ( throat wise ) and there's more vapor that and the added warmth. Ok... I take that back a bit... I just closed down the airflow on the Subtank so it's closer to the Aerotank ( but is still looser ) and it's a lot denser flavor. I had been running the airflow wide open to help compensate with the added heat and throat hit.

I can't do direct lung hits... I suspect those that can will really be loving this. Up till know, I've prefered a more open draw than a kayfun L+ v2 provides even with the air hole drilled out a bit. The Subtank is on the opposite end of the spectrum ( wide open ) for draw and I'll have to get used to it before I decide where I want that set to.

The flavor itself, even with a brand new coil, is very true to what I get through the Kayfun after the coil is finally broken in.

I'm also excited to try out the RTA deck... but if I find I can get this flavor with the factory coils and I can then rebuild those coils as I think I can... I'll just use rebuilt coil heads just for the convenience. All of this is speculation right now... time will tell in the end.

Nice rdsok. Boy that VS is tiny. I like the skin.

The VS is almost too tiny in my hands... that is one reason I got the sharkskin for it... I also got the wireless adapter card to go with it so I can just set it on my QI phone charger pad without having to plug it in all of the time.

You should try the RBA side on that Sub Tank too RD...just so you can experience it.

How does the wireless charger work? Better than what Phil was experiencing?

I plan too after this 0.5 ohm coil is gunked up ( which I'll try a rebuild on as well )

I guess I need to vape the VS's battery down to find out. Prelim tests with a full battery are probably useless but my charger recognises it is on the charger... :D

... Oh, just in case there are those that don't already know this...

A 0.5Ω coil running at 25w sucks down batteries like their nobodies business.

In the time I used mine during work... I used about 60% of the 2500mah battery up. Compare that to the VS with a 1.5Ω running at 10.5w and I was coming home with about the same amount of a 1300mah battery left. The 1.5Ω is in my Kayfun L+v2

Still I need to admit... after using the Subtank at that 25w... I upped my Aerotank on the VS to 12.5w just to get a little more warmth out of it. This is a factory dual coil head so I didn't want to push it too far. Much higher and the wick doesn't keep up.

Rebuilt the Orchid..dual micro coils 28ga kanthal 12 wraps each @ 1.1 ohms..Vaping on 20 watts..Temptation is really shining. :)

I can't wait to rebuild my two orchids. I'll be aiming for around .8 - 1 ohm.

The clear tanks and top fill caps fit, and look quite sweet!

I'll mention...

Wireless charging on a mod is really nice :)

I think I need to get another charger pad like the one below that I currently use for my smartphone. It'd sit nicely on my narrow sofa table that I sit next to me ( over the cushion type )... then I just would have to set my VS down on it instead of the table...

The Kanger SubTank I got in earlier today is a big winner in my book so far.

If you like a tight draw, it's probably not going to be for you. This one is about flavor, vapor and a lot of air flow. You are also going to need around 25w to enjoy it I suspect... thats what's doing it for me with the Our RY4 I've had in it all day. The 0.5Ω coil that comes installed in it will also require a bigger battery to run it for any length of time. I haven't tried the 1.2Ω yet... but I bet that will be just as nice and will be able to use lower amps at a lower power level as well.

The only down side is it's diameter of 25mm which won't look right on most of the mods that are 22mm. They did put a 22mm-25mm adapter with it... but then it looks a bit awkward like the eGo batteries with a decent size tank on top of them. I suspect they did it this size in order to maintain a large 6ml capacity in clearo mode and 4.2ml in RTA mode. I'd just as soon had a little less capacity and a 22mm sized tank. Perhaps some smaller diameter models are in their future although they may have to drop the RTA portion if they go to the smaller 18mm or smaller sizes.

The taste using the factory clearo type of coil is good from the get go... They are using organic cotton and I don't taste anything when I first started using it. There didn't seem to be a need for a breakin period like many coils have... even the ones I've built have a bit of one. If they don't make some smaller sizes... They do good if they move the technology they have in these coils into their Aerotank line of clearos.

It looks like it will be a bit before I use up this first coil... I really look forward to trying out the RTA deck on it later. I hope to see some of the same characteristics on the coils in the RTA with the ease of build similar to the Kayfun's that I'm used to using.
