It's done. I may move the fuse to the bottom. No hurry though I'm glad to be using it again. Now I just have to wait for the gear I ordered last night to get here so I can mod one of the rdas for bottom feeding and try squonking. :) Yes you're reading it right. After almost a year I'm getting some new vape gear. :2cool:

Lancia Style Rebuildable Atomizer 1:1 By IVOGO
Vertex V2 Style Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer Copper 1:1
Stainless Steel + Glass Hybrid 510 Drip Tip Transparent (2 of these)

That's awesome..been waiting on the pics David. Nice bro.

It's here! The KayFun V4 arrived this afternoon, right into Mama Chak's hands. Luckily, a neighbor was visiting so she could go full tilt boogie on my .....

This clone is by Infinite and is really well made - machining is real clean, threads are smooth, glass and plastic tank sections are good, no chips or cracks. There's a bag full of extra o-rings and screws, two pre-made silica coils and a tiny screwdriver. With this order I also picked up two extra glass sections just in case and two clear tank sections for my KFMini.

I've got a 1.5ohm 30g coil with Rayon in it and christened it with Black Cavendish. My HHV stash is running low. I've got it on the ZNA at 9.5 W and it's hitting pretty good. Airflow (full open) is much better than the KF original and KFL, but not as open as the Magma at it's second hole. That's great for me as I don't like my vape too airy. Right now I can't tell you if the taste is any better or not, because my sinuses are acting up again and all my juices taste like the Eh? in Maple Eh?

So far, I'm very happy with this clone. Excellent choice for anyone looking for an improvement over the original KayFun. I really like the fact that I can refill from the top and open up the build section without wasting any juice. But dayum there's an awful lot of parts! I have the glass section in it now and will try out the bell cap with the next refill after wicking.

For $26.85, it's a damn good buy if'n you like KayFuns. :thumb:

Chak, that looks stellar. I had thought about getting a Kayfun v.4 in the future. But I wasn't sure if the air flow would be that great or not. The airflow on this 3.1 is good to me. The Aqua 2 air flow is better though. I am not sure if I want to deal with all those parts either. That did seem like more work. As far as looks though, the v4 is impeccable. Glad you were able to get an Infinite clone. I am happy for you. That vaporizer you are sporting there looks too cool with the rta too. SWEET my friend, just sooo sweet. I need to stop looking now. Awful tempting...lol.

Yeah, just so I can say I had one... Might be nice to compare with the KayFun, but not looking for anything new for a while. Got enough clobber hanging round collecting dust.
I was just kidding but you never know , you actually might like the Aqua more . It dang sure ain't as complicated . :)

Has anyone tried Japanese Organic Cotton ? I keep frying rayon, not good.

OC will fry faster than Rayon. You need to figure out why you're frying the Rayon instead of looking for a different wicking medium.

I think many of us have. I use it all the time. Koh Gen Doh. Gimmie your address and I'll send you some.

Thanks, sending you PM, although you might change your mind after .....

My answer would be "Because I'm not using a Reos."
It just seems to me that, with 70% VG e-liquids, it is a constant battle to NOT fry my wicks in a Kayfun, or a KFL + V2. And I am tiring of that 'burnt wick' taste. I could try opening up the feed ports on the HCigar the way I did the Original, but the possibility of placing both setups on the Classies after the upcoming Woodvil run keeps me from doing so. Not that they would sell for the price I would ask.....

Try the cotton. if you fry that then you know you're the problem and not the Rayon.
