Been playing with the Snow Wolf 200w mod. When I first saw the specs, I thought that amount of power was obscene. After much research and youtubing, I started to see the allure. I've been wanting to do more of the "coil art" type builds, but I hate single coils on an RDA, and my sigelei only runs 0.2 or higher. Most clapton, zippers, ect end up reading below 0.1 when dual.
So this is a staggered heating build. Parallel 24g Kanthal with 24g claptoned with 30g. And yes, it's reading extremely low. 0.07 ohms. Nothing that I would dare fire on a mech, and my 100w wouldn't support it. But, on the SnowWolf, I have it running at 145w (sounds ridiculous) but that only translates to 3.18v.
It's not "take your head off" hot or intense. It's comfortable, and not even as warm as I typically vape. But the richness in flavor is unreal. Same can be said of my 24g x 36g fused clapton. There is definitely a difference in vaping experience with textured wire builds built to run low voltage.
I've been playing with temp control, but still haven't found the best way (for me) to utilize this feature.
