Hmmm , I know you're just getting re-aquainted with DF but it was an eye opener for me in the Magma , I'm finding the flavor from HHV NET's really light up in it but the heavier Raw NET's as Bronze calls them are on par with a kayfun as far as flavor goes little to no advantage with them in the Magma other than I ain't gunking up a kayfun with them . Try the HHV NET's in it when you get the chance .

You don't think I already tried it?! I went from White Lie to DF yesterday evening, and yes, the flavour was more pronounced but was also "hotter", which seeing that I'm putting out 20W instead of my normal 10 - 12W is not surprising.

So, here's my first attempt at a dual build on the Magma. 28g, 11 wraps each around 5/64 drillbit for 0.80 ohms.

Nice setup. What type of wick did you use?

I'll have to do some research. The only mechs I have use 14500 size batteries (one each) - need to find out the C rating on these Efest IMR 14500 700 mAh to see if they can handle sub-ohm vaping.

The longer driptips help a lot with that , I noticed BK was sporting about a 60mm driptip yesterday and I use one that's about the same length .

I'll give that a try. I know I have a Super T Tanbur drip tip around here somewhere. Failing that, there's always my pipe stems.

when you do opposed coils you are supposed to wrap the twin coil in the opposite direction to keep the flux field the same.... since you wrapped both coils in the same direction and did an inverted opposed install, the flux field created by both coils will counter each other thus reducing the effectiveness of the electron flow thru the coils... imagine all the energy you are wasting away that could be put to good use vaporizing all that juice.... rewrap at least one coil in the proper direction Dusty.... do it right...
