Hey that's mighty kind of you, Calve. I'll PM you the address and we can work out the details. :toast: Happy Birthday, Slim!!! Sorry I'm late. It's in my hand already! Yo Voltron, you won't be sorry going with the Magma. Just got mine today and it's kicking ....! Built my first ever dual coil set up and it's working like a champ on some 70/30, 12mg Huntsman. I didn't go sub-ohm as I wanted to try it out on my Provari, so I shot for 1.3 ohm and got 1.35 - 1.4 ohm. I used 30 ga Kanthal and 11 wraps round a 2mm mandril. Then pulled some Rayon wick through and filled 'er up. Got the Provari set at 4.2 V, so that's about 12.6 W - taste is awesome and TH is banging the back of my throat like a hammer! Maybe I'll take voltage down a notch or two. It's a serious dripper, no doubt! If y'all want to see the unboxing, here's the link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/23621465@N04/sets/72157646254448049/ And here's the build: First Dual Coil 1.4ohm by Chakris1, on Flickr
Congrats on getting Magmatized Chak , get that Panzer going and post some Panzer porn !

Cut me some slack, General! I've reached a comfort zone with my clearomizers, so I really haven't had the urge to build stuff. Having said that, now that I started on this stuff, I guess there's no turning back. Next order of business is getting myself a Magma. :)
Yup you need to get Magmatized ! :)

Yeah Im pretty impressed with the magma. Right now I have mine set up at 1.1ohm single micro coil with rayon wick. At 25w on my hana flavor is outstanding!
I'm running mine on a 26650 Panzer with dual twisted 28ga coils at .5ohms wicked with rayon , the flavor and vapor is intense .

Yup , like that big Panzer he got with it , if he throws some 28ga in there and chops that resistance it'll hit like a Tiger tank ! :)

I don't know if he has a low enough mg juice to be able to lung hit it.

Oh yeah, it does not sit well on the Provari. Needs a device with an adjustable centre pin for sure.

If this delivery is any indication FasTech should have the Panzer here next Wed. give or take. It shipped on the 17th. Took 10 days for the Magma.

What would you guys say is a good range to shoot for sub-ohm, .7 - .8?

go for it do a 24 GPlat at .125 and then you can use it in the winter time to keep the room warm as you vape :)

I thought you ordered them at the same time , guess we'll have to wait on the Panzer porn . :) Yup .7-.8 seems to be the sweetspot , I'm playing with mine at .5 with some of BK's low nic stuff but the HHV NET's tasted best to me at the .7-.8 range .

Hmm, just noticed the Magma has a slight leak through the 510 connection. I filled it up and took a few drags off it and got called to help in the kitchen, so I changed swapped out tanks with the Kayfun and set the Mag on my vape station. Came back up a little later and a tear of juice was just forming around the screw head. Thought I had that in tight enough, didn't want to put too much torque on it in fear of breaking something.

Anyone else having this problem and if so, how did you fix it?

Haven't seen a leak from down below. You sure it didn't drip from one of the air holes?!

I thought I had the same thing but juice had worked it's way under the AFC ring and down , probably from me trying to actually drip in it instead of filling the well , now I just unscrew the topcap and fill , I haven't gotten juice in my 510 since .

That would go well with my 22k Gold Plated Odyssey: Well, I'd show the pic, but Flickr's site is down...

One of these days I'd like to pick up one of these, too... The two I have fit 14500 bats only and used for special occasions - they look very elegant with the KFMini on top. :2cool:

I'll be taking a closer look to see where it's actually coming from. Thanks for the input guys. :toast:

Is there supposed to be an o-ring that goes onto the base before you put the AFC ring on? It looks like there's a groove on the base just above the air hole that would fit one.

Found an o-ring from a Raichman tank that fit perfect - will see if that doesn't stop the leak. :toast:

    Nope.. no O-ring on mine.

The Magma isn't designed to use o-rings...

    Product Features:
    304 surgical grade stainless steel
22mm Wide - standard size of MOD's to make it look "flushed"
Two 3mm wide poles (screw type - shoot and screw) easier to rebuild and better conductivity
New technology - dual DIRECT TO COIL air-hole (around 1.5mm away from coils) for maximized flavor and vapor
External airflow selection (1mm, 2mm, 3mm), options for single or dual air-hole - for ease of use
Extended juice basin - can hold up to 40 drops of juice with minimal change of leakage (for a dripper)
Poles are welded to the base for durability
Positive insulator hidden in the base to avoid melting
O-ring less - to make it maintenance free
Dome chamber top cap for better flavor
