I got the Plume from eciggity. It was the gold plated tobecco version. I like it, but it is not my favorite by far. The top insulator that covers the top air holes makes my vape taste funny. I had the top air holes full open, and that insulator was almost touching my coils.. hence the off taste now. the gold plating hasn't come off and I have been using it pretty much every day for a month.

Hope this helps your decision.

Thanks Rez. I just do not want anything to do with tobeco. It would almost be unfair to evaluate any product if it were a tobeco. If i were to get a Plume Veil, it would have to be an original or from a quality clone maker.

All 3 Magmas re-wicked with 26g 1ohm single coils. More versatile to my style of Vaping.

I get to use them with 12mg nic using single or dual 1mm holes either on the Panzer or regulated on the Provari

I also get to use it with my 3mg nic using dual 3mm holes on the Panzer for cloud chasing. Granted the clouds may not be as big as with the dual coils at .8, but it's sufficient for me. ;)

Ever use your DNA with your Magma?

I've never owned anything from Infinite. But something says "junk" to me about this one. And the capacity looks small. Infinite Plume Veil Atomizer Clone RDA
I have the Infinite Magma and it's rock solid , their mechs are getting excellent reviews , on par with Hcigar , I don't know about their Plume Veil clone but for the most part they make high quality clones . If it wasn't for the plating I wouldn't hesitate to but an Infinite Plume Veil clone if I wanted one .

I'm playing with Gplat in mine since BK gave me some , 24ga 11 wraps at 2.4mm single coil came out to .5 ohms , talk about surface area geez , I'll probably go back to the duals at .8 with some lower nic juices , BK whipped up some 10mg juice but that was too much for the twisted 28ga .5 duals I had in it , too warm for me .

Why do you want nothing to do with tobeco? Just curious if I should get clones from a better company.

They have a bad track record on ECF , more complaints than any other clone manufacturer , I have several Kayfun clones that I use , a good friend bought a Tobeco R91% clone and I used it for a couple of weeks trying to get a decent build on it and gave up , too many faults to list , really bad machining and threads on it , I've examined other Tobeco products in the BM's here and their QC is really bad , You really wouldn't believe the difference between my Hcigar clones and the Tobeco versions , my Hcigar clones are seamless and butter smooth . Having said that , don't trash you're Tobeco if it works for you but do check out Hcigar , Infinite and Ehpro , I think you'll appreciate the difference

I have never owned anything from Tobeco...so want to get that out there right away. However, I have been around and have done lots of reading about many manufacturers of both original and clone devices. Tobeco is near the bottom in terms of quality. Some of the better clone makers are Hcigar, Infinite, and EHPro. There re others. I find Tobeco is usually one of the first to market and as I learn more, they are likely reverse engineering from photographs versus the original device (just learned this yesterday). Yes, I believe you would be happier with a better clone manufacturer and will see a noticeable difference in quality. retic from this thread has owned a variety of clones devices and would agree. I own an Hcigar Nemesis and it is top shelf.

EDIT: I see retic beat me to it. :)

Hey Retic the Chef...do you have a good French Onion soup recipe? I want a straight forward recipe...no Tabasco, no crawdad heads or any of that business. You live in France III there (behind France and Canada) so I'll bet you have a good recipe for it. I use one out of a crockpot book and it's good but I want to try someone else's.

Not the thread for it but mine is basic . A good Beef stock with lots of caramelised onions , I usually caramelise garlic with my onions , I use a few bayleaves , some fresh thyme , cracked black pepper , and the two kickers are Colmans dry mustard , you want just enough to add a little heat but not enough for it to be identifiable , use small amounts and adjust as you go , I finish with dry sherry and add a toasted french bread crouton and top it off with buffalo milk mozzerella before running it under the broiler , After you caramelise your onions and garlic and add the beef stock , add your seasoning , bring to a boil and reduce to a low simmer . low and slow is best , adjust your seasoning in the last 10 minutes of cook time .

Hmmmm, that dry sherry sounds like the X factor. Interesting.

    Thanks. Good ideas there.

    Buffalo milk mozzarella?

I have 3 infinite tobh, 2 hcigar nemmy's. Now that you mentioned it I just noticed all my mech's/rba's that are either falling apart, or the finish is coming off are tobeco. Russian, patriot, and copper nemmy (I think it was tobeco). I will remember this advice, and buy from either hcigar, or infinite.

Thank you both for your input :)

There are minor issues that come up with all of them from time to time but Tobeco leads the league in complaints. Hands down. :)

Can't beat genuine stuff but it can be pricey.

Yup , Buffalo milk has a higher fat content than cow's milk , it makes for a richer , silkier cheese , some supermarket's carry it in the deli section , it's a fresh soft cheese , usually in little balls . You can use whatever cheese you like , provolone , swiss , it'll work . The dry sherry and dry mustard are X factors , if done right the mustard adds depth as well as spice , but you have to be careful with it and the sherry or you'll overpower the soup , for a variation madeira or marsala wine works quite well , I can tell you as far as the cruise line recipe replacing the white wine with dry vermouth will kick it up a notch .

I'll have to check out that buffalo cheese. I admit I'm worried about the dry mustard. I never was a dry mustard fan and I definitely do not want FO soup to have any spicy bite to it.
