Put a new coil in the Double cross. Dual coil with no break in the ribbon. .8 ribbon- 4/5 wrap- .5 ohms. Looks a little rough but it's the first one I've tried. I only did just to see if I could. I'm still looking for the 22 mil Double Cross V2.

Yesterday at the B/M I was able to put my KFL on a Hana DNA20 clone and take a few vapes. I have to say it put the vape from my Vamo to shame. I really shouldn't have done it because now I want my XPV DNA30 to get here more than ever. And it's going to be a couple weeks more or so I think.

I'm looking to get a Zenith V2. But I'm waiting to find a clone. they was link in the new members section for one but the site is new and although it said V2 they didn't give any specs. So I'm waiting for a vendor I feel safer with. I got the 19mm clone a couple weeks ago and it is great for ribbon.

I'm playing around today , put a twisted 28ga coil in the IGO 8 wraps 2mm came out to .8 , debating making another and going dual , it's a monster coil looks like a roll of barbed wire sitting in there .

So I should have waited on opening the channels till had the right bit to do it with. But I didn't. Got a bit that fit nicely and cleaned them up and made them a little deeper. Going to set it up for tomorrow and it should be as good as the other one.
They're a touch wider than my other one but the depth is about the same. I think the wicking issue most people have could be related to the channels being big enough. I'm in good shape because I have one to compare with. May leave the tails a bit longer.
It's certainly worth a try. Not much to lose. And you did confirm the channels were smaller than your other one.
Actually, it's not too bad for a dremel and an old man. It's not a CNC machine.
That's true my hands ain't the steadiest either , I probably wouldn't attempt it freehand .
Can't say they aren't big enough now. Just put a 1.4 ohm coil in and it's hitting good. Besides the worst that could happen is I screw it up. Wouldn't be the first time.
