I had a cordless dremel , lost it somewhere's along the way , but a friend had a corded dremel and mine sucked compared to his , so much more torque and rpm's on his that I want the corded model now , I used his to cut through an o-ring chain on my motorcycle that mine couldn't make a dent in .

Now Lemme just ask before I actually buy one.. What I want to do is cut/slice a tiny piece out of 510 pins so I can convert top fed attys into bottom fed.
Drilling thru with a bit doesn't work for me as I don't have a proper stand to do that kind of work so I figured a dremel would do the trick.
I got one if you need to borrow it Retic...
That's why it depends on what your going to use it for. That one works well for what I need.
No immediate use for one unless I want to twist kanthal at 35,000 rpm !I used mine for polishing small parts on my guns but I wouldn't use a dremel on any of the firearms I have now .
Didn't think I needed the extra power until I did , hindsight is the best sight .![]()
Just picked up, well bought, not yet picked up, a Mirandus Brass set from another member on ecf. Any of you guys have any experience with this mod?
Seeing many of us have 250 year supplies of kanthal wire, twisting at 35,000 rpm might be just the ticket.![]()
Any time you want that torque, corded electric is generally a better way to go.
Agreed , that's why I linked MP to a corded model , you never know you need it until you need it .
I'd prefer wired honestly. This kind of work always gets done inside, and ya never know when ya might need pooooooower.
Lifetime supply of kanthal but not the one I use now
By the time I get more 24 I'll be using 22.

I always liked the high torque stuff.![]()

Well you can always twist the other stuff , a dremel at 35,000 rpm should make quick work of it .![]()
