seriously tho, this works so nicely..... place the wire a few twists of the rod and instant coil...

well there is 1 issue but a small one.... you have to move the half turn out of the way but that only takes 1/2 a second

I ran alot of turns just to show how even the coil can be made....

and that is raw off the form no heating, no squeezing

Not hard, just frustrating. It's my least favorite part of making coils. Plus, I love gadgets that are not fussy. More like perfect tools for the job. I could fix my separated vinyl siding with a putty knife, but those little zipping gadgets get 'er done a tad easier.

Get BK to make a coil jig for you .

That jig looks like it makes it easier to add tension, making for the tighter coils, eh? I went with that artsy coil gizmo, but I like your idea.
