Late last night I was perusing the REOS mods site when I noticed Rob now lists Grand Doors separately. Picked up a Tumbled Finish Brass Door engraved with "R E O" in what looks like ancient Gothic style lettering, and a Brass RM2. Gonna pretty up my Grand...

Anything going on with regulated REO's?

Only the VV Grand, which is now only obtainable through the classifieds. Rob was not satisfied with the electronics he was getting from BozzPro. I have two, one for over a year and a half with no complaints. Rob has high standards, after all his name (and initials- R E O)are on the products.
The new thing is REOS are now setup for sub-ohming. The battery springs, which collapse as a last-resort dead short protection, are now good down to 0.2 ohms. The contacts are upgraded, now copper beryllium gold plated (what ever that means) and the firing buttons are now high-temperature plastic.
Rob is also making Low-Profile (juice cup) to accommodate larger rba's, and something called Super Light.

Looks Like This..LP_SL_reo_grand__5391e4e11a926.jpg Super Ugly to me, but others might like it...

Go For It ! Only $175, but you might want to add a Reomizer 2.0 rba to your order. After all, it's the RBA specifically designed for the REO. There are several colors still available, including Black Anodized (good finish).
And please use the suggested batteries.

Me, I'm waiting for a Silver Anodized Grand (traditional)

REO is on my list, but not on the near term list. I'm trying to skinny up my vape gear and juice for now. Making progress too. :)

One day I will own a REO.

I think so. All I wanted to do was have a pictorial for the Army. Didn't think it would go nationwide. Seems people feel more comfortable with a pictorial versus a video. I would never have guessed that.

I've watched some videos like everyone has. They can be hard to follow and see what is being done sometimes. What you've done is explain it and show a pic of what it looks like. With that someone new can do the wrap and compare it with the pic to see if they have it right. No need to back track thinking what did he say to do and do I have it right? I think it just makes it simplifies it.

I think you're right David. The pictures seem to just hit the highlights and they can figure out what needs to happen in-between. I tried keeping the words down too and just let the pictures convey the information. Cripes, you could write a novel with each picture and lose people. My gripe with vids is often times they take 30 minutes when a 10 - 12 minute vid would suffice.

Berylluim seems to be a word that should instill fear... we had a safety class for machining certian metals and berylluim (sp?) was one that you didnt want on/in you.... in fact a sliver of it would be an expidited trip to the safety division manager.... the wifey was a machinist for Boeing and even back then ( 1972) Beryllium was a topic of concern....
