Then, there's the mixes that have been sent to me by some of the home extractors on the NET thread.

Damn, dude! You need to go on a crazy sampling frenzy like right now. I'm particualry curious about your take on RBFS's Count Caramel, KillRY4, and Captain Honey Pepper. I hope you don't purposely leave them for last now that I mentioned them. :p

BTW, not to put you under any more pressure, but I believe home extractions (macerations) are mostly reverse steepers. So you better get started on those as well. :)

Count Caramel is a very nice tobacco blend with a caramel accompaniment. The caramel is not in the forefront, but comes along for the ride nicely. The tobaccos are very well defined. Vaping it right now.

I tried Capt. Honey Pepper (brought in by a friend) at the vape meet last night. It's definitely got that slightly sour Honey note happening, and you can sense the pepper during the exhale more than the inhale. The pepper is more a nose thing than a flavour thing in this juice. The tobacco (not a net) is there more in name only.

Haven't tried KillRY4 yet. I'll keep you posted when I try it. ;)

Does it help after watching Rip?

I can't answer that. I've never been able to get past 5 seconds of him without stopping. I would imagine though that a small Percocet/Flexeril cocktail would do the trick.

What possessed you to watch an entire video of his? You should be out doing more work, to make more money, to buy your HD that you'll sell. :D

Rip imparts that deer in the headlights feeling. I'm so wrecked while he's on I can't settle my hand enough to turn hisass off.

HD is a few years away. I want it but I don't have to have it now.

What's the status of your repair job?

You should post some photo updates during the rebuild. This is the hardware thread...as good a place as any. :)

I'll do that. I'm replacing the tin all OEM. The mods are going to be small but impactful. Going to put a 2" Tank Lift on it, solo seat, sissy bar and passenger pillion for RJ and a number of other minor details. It'll work.

Gaia at 1.0 ohm in the PanMag #2 airflow hole wide open is kicking serious booty!!! Don't know if I really need to go sub-ohm just yet... :D
I'll be doing some work on the upper arm muscles at the same time - with the magma full it's weighing in at 550 gm, over HALF A KILO!!!!

Threading is all good, switch throw is easy enough (I was worried that it'd be on the stiff side). Machining looks pretty good, no really sharp edges, but there are some burs where they drilled the vent holes, but they don't impede the insertion of the battery adaptors, or cut your fingers. I can clean it up easy enough if my OCD kicks in. Oh, and the Magma doesn't screw down flush with the base. Is it supposed to? The positive pin is adjusts in towards the battery, but is it a floating pin too? I think not.

Overall, I'm satisfied. :toast:

Chak the pin is very tight to start off with but it is floating , it does take a good bit of force initially but don't worry either crank the Magma down or use a punch it will move . It is a heavy beast especially in 18650 mode with the adapters , enjoy your Panmag , welcome to the Panmag platoon ! :)

Oh, ok. Thanks. I'll try giving it a tap or two with the punch. (I read in the reviews that it was floating, but wasn't sure it was this mod or another.)

The only hiccup with adjusting it down with the punch is that it stays there. Needs to be punched back up if using a different atty, since an atty with a shorter 510 connector no longer reaches the pin once it has been adjusted for the Magma. I've just dedicated the Panzer to the Magma and called it a day.. no time to futz around with moving pins up and down.

Congrats, Chak! It's a beauty. Good for Mama Chak for not giving you a hard time about it. Enjoy! :toast:
