I'm still in love with my Achilles BTW. I have tried so many juices in it. Everything is better in it. Even things I didn't care for before are good.

It's absolutely perfect for what I needed.

Having a hard time choosing a drip tip. The titanium is a hard color to work with. Any great drip tip vendors I should look at? It's overwhelming.

Adam just added some drip tips. I'm going to pick up the angled long stem for my drippers. It helps cool down the vape. And easy to throw in with the next juice order.

Is it worth getting a shark skin for it?

For me... I don't think I will but there are a lot of people that can really chip or mess up a finish. Of course, I only put a screen protector on my smart phone because I like the matte finish also. I believe they've revamped the original finish they had on the DNA 20 version, so it is a lot tougher now. All I can really say this early on... it feels like it will take some abuse without issue.

The shark skin, beyond protection... does have a couple of advantages... the unit is only 19.8mm wide so with the skin 22mm vaporizers will look a little nicer. Having said that... I originally had the Aerotank Mega on it and it just barely hangs over any edge... Another advantage is if you were thinking of getting the wireless charger option ( which my smart phone has and is cool )... then you have to have the skin so the charge coil is under it. The last thing some would like... is the rubbery feel the shark skin has some would like.

I am considering getting some decorative vinyl for it... perhaps a carbon fiber look... or burley wood, cherry wood or something. I haven't decided on that one yet... but I'm strongly thinking about it.

That wireless feature is kinda neat. Busardo had a defective wireless feature and it was real finicky but he felt it was an exception. I don't think those skins are too expensive. Less than $10??

The decorative ones made for specific mods.... start at $12 and go up over $20 .... so I'd agree, ten bucks isn't bad

Well one project done..new coils for doir attys..KFLs were old and really needed some attention. In that group was my ERLK clone...overall easy to build and nice vape. I could not get it to register on my ohm meter (little black box) but knew I had to be at 2.0ohm with my build ...put it in the hana and works great and does indeed register 2.0. I really wanted this for my Istick but get no atomizer error ..even tried the adapter. It's a clone so I assume the 510 connection is just too short..and works on the Hana due to the well around the connector. I hate the drip tip and if the drip tip adapters ever become available on FT would probably grab one. All in all productive just bummed it won't work on the Istick. Vape is nice

When using a bottom feeder do you use the same pressure on the bottle from start to finish? Or do you have to press a little more as the level drops? Just something I've wondered about.:)

As the bottle empties... the volume of air increases as the liquid decreases... air is compressible and liquid is not so you'll need a little more pressure each time to overcome the compression that the volume of air requires... I doubt it is much more pressure, but it will be some.

Never really thought about it. Just 'squonk' (that's what it is called) until juice reaches the coils/ wicks. Usually for a 'four count' or maybe a full second on my Reos. As I reach the last quarter of the bottle, I have 'double squonk' to get juice up to the RBA. A lot of times I just remove the drip tip and stare directly down into the RBA and squonk until I see the juice cover the coils.
And, for some unknown reason, my most difficult squonker is the Plunger Mod...

Drip Tip.jpg If you're into gold-plated two piece drip tips (vapordna) or Trippy Tips hand blown glass tips (RTDVapor) and such...

EDIT: I am really no good at this 'Link' stuff, but I think these Links work... maybe...

My Rose clone shipped on Wed. so maybe I'll have it by next weekend or early the week after. Hope it's a good replacement for the KFL Plus I screwed up, and it better not whistle any tunes! :glare:
Can't speak for that version but my Infinite clone doesn't whistle . It is a more time consuming build but the results are worth it . I have to use hemostats to place the coil , Todd used his fingers on his review but my fingertips do not fit inside the ceramic cup at all .

I'm really enjoying it... all of my other "nice" mod's are hefty and/or large... so I wanted a smaller one and this one fits the bill

Definitely a nice little box. I got one with the rubber shark skin specifically for use on the boat, but it tends to go everywhere with me.

@Bonze, the shark skin really pays off on a rocking boat! No roly-poly, slippy slidey, over the side plopping. :)

I don't know what material you're looking for in a drip tip, but driptipdesinz.com has a variety of materials and great workmanship. They even made custom DTs for me with left over chunks of Santos Mahogany from my Dibi Sumpin' Custom Drip Tips

    Ooooooh! They added steampunk!

    Later!
