That's what's in there.. wasn't sure if you'd seen it or not. I figured it would great for you to use as your "at work" mod. :)

From what I've read, Rob is tossing around an idea to try to make a 'Hoople Proof' Grand, as in little or no maintenance required, abuse resistant, long lasting... you know the type

Aqua V2 OEM from FT has arrived. It is an absolutely gorgeously put together device atleast from a materials and build perspective. I have no idea yet on how to adjust air-flow or how to fill the darn thing. It looks completely alien. :)

I guess I'm going to have to track down a video of how it works.

Got her built. I went with a 26g single coil at 1.2ohms. Figured I'd get that sorted out before I experimented with dual coils. There's a screw that can be put on the deck to block off the second air-hole. Stuffed cotton in the second juice channels to block juice coming up onto the deck from there.

It's kinda similar to the K4 where you unscrew the bottom deck with the tank flipped over to fill juice in the tank. Tank took just over 4ml of liquid.

To open or close the airflow, you just loosen or tighten the bottom deck or just hold the tank and tighten or loosen towards the bottom. Air flow is HUGE.. I don't see any issues with lung hitting it. Yes, I can tighten it down to where it is fully shut off.

Very simple once you grasp the concept of it.

As you will see by the pictures, I've got it setup with the bell tank. I prefer it over the full steel so that I can see level of juice in the tank.

I've already commented on the build quality. Threads are super smooth, and the quality of the steel is also top notch. I don't doubt for a minute that this is the OEM version of the V2.

Pics on the ZNA and the Sig 100.

I've said it before.. Almost every FT order I've placed, I've received in 6 days from shipping. The Aqua V2 was scheduled to ship on the 9th, and it shipped on the 5th instead. No complaints from me. :)

You're going to enjoy this one, Kiwi. I can almost guarantee it. ;)

I know. It's weird. I've always received my orders within 7 to 9 days max :/ this time it's taken longer. Strange. Oh well!

As luck would have it, I'll be in NYC all the way till 6 jan to give a few talks, so I won't actually get to see it till next year. Shucks.

Dusty D..the only issue I see is that same old issue I have with the Orchid V3..Juice capacity,..(3ml) and V4,..(4ml) that and the bottom fill.
Sure wished someone would make a tank like the Orchid with a top fill. Meh,..may as well try a V2,..for that price what can I loose.

While you're ordering the Aqua V2, get a couple of the Kayfun top fill caps for the Orchids. I've got a couple of those enroute as well. Bottom filling sucks on the Orchid V4.

I've thought of that also. Wonder if it has a recess for the o-ring..I'm not familiar with those as I only had one Kayfun and man did it suck!

If your Kayfun sucked, you didn't do it right.. Big Kayfun following in the Army. I've owned 5 originals, of which I'm still using 3 on a daily basis. :)

I'm hoping the top fill caps work with the Orchid's. If not, into the bin they go.

I picked up one of those Kayfun Bell tank kits, but it doesn't fit the V4. :p
