Wow, that is a jaw dropper alright. I hear they are real good. They oughta be for that price.... :toast:

Considering that I still have/use one that I bought 4 years ago, you can bet they are good and worth it. ;)

Yep, you tend to get what you pay for. April's VF cost $300.

I have to learn the lingo. Is the VF a Vapor Flask? I think I may have bettered my health, but my poor pocketbook...I can see the handwriting on the wall... :tumble:

There's a big difference with your investment though - you will be left with some nice gear that you can continue using for a long time to come. Before, you just had a pile of stinky ash and cig butts. :)

Take it slowly and find what you like. Then don't feel bad about it for a minute.

I have tried restraint. I do have a mild case of shinyitis. Smoking cigarettes was not a hobby. I certainly didn't go on the internet talking about them. They were just something I needed, and enjoyed. (well my mind thought so, and I was addicted) vaping though, is bringing out the variety obsessive streak I have. I love that I can
"smoke" different flavors, it is one way of putting it. Before when I finally broke down and got the generic cigarettes, I never enjoyed them as much as the Marlboro cigarettes. If you knew me better, you would understand. I am still vaping the Gaia. I must say, I am just about chain vaping it at the moment....lol. Once I get the Magma, I want to get some Sludge, and some other super gunkers. I want to see how this dripping thing goes. I hope I enjoy dripping. If I do, it will open up more flavors for me. I also can't wait to try the Aqua2, via both methods of using it, as a tank, and a dripper. I have a feeling it might be a tad tricky for me to use, since I am still such a newbie. But I have come a long way in a short time frame. I hope y'all know you are a bad influence though....good, but bad. I have went through so much money since the end of October, I am in awe. I went from the starter kit on Halloween to the Kayfun, and now just two months later, I am going to be using a dripper soon. One good thing though, y'all have helped me with e juice selections. So far I have found way more at HHV, than any other vendor, of flavors I truly enjoy. Of all the ones I've tried, just two didn't work for me there.

I have saved two Aqua2 videos to watch again. I also have watched some mech mod safety videos etc... I feel like I've been putting myself through vaping school, and y'all are my teachers...lol.

KK... I agree with LA, go slow, find what you like and feel good about it. It took me a very long time to make decisions on spendy purchases. I am very happy with what I have. I would really like one more tank, it'll probably take me 6 months to choose one :)

As fast as things are going..you'd be better off..I have gone through a couple versions of the Orchid and now the Billow has everything I thought the Orchid needed..I'll review it when it get's here.

Okay, so I promised to come here to do my whining about the ErlPrinz. Good news is, I fixed the loosened 510. Like other attys, the positive post goes down through the 510. It is tightened down by a screw running up through the 510 connector.

I took out that screw for cleaning all the parts, even the base, before first use. No more hidden machine oil and its foul taste for me! The problem is how hard it is with just two hands - in a tiny space where no clamp can safely go - holding down the positive post tightly on top of the base, while tightening the 510 screw from the bottom of the base *without* lifting the positive post at all.

I think I finally got it in there correctly. Rewick, refill - leaking 1 ml of juice until the seal finally took after I closed off the fill holes.

I know some of this was due to taking it all apart, and from my not having a clear sense of how its vacuum works. The flavor is great. I'm not very confident in this tank so far. I don't like the standard delrin drip tip, or that I have to buy an adapter to use regular 510 drip tips, or buy the threaded ones from Erlkonigin. Those accessories are not yet available in the US.

Overall, it's proving to be a bit fussy. Grade: B minus. For now.

Have any of you found that different attys seem to draw more battery power than others? I have the ErlPrinz built on 28ga, 1.2 ohms. Same gauge and ohms on the Veritas. Yet the ErlP is draining my battery faster than the Veritas?

There's no short in the ErlP coil as far as I know. It's the third coil I've had in it, and with all three there's noticeably more battery drain. I run the Veritas at 15W, the ErlP at 12 - 12.5W. Both are single coil builds, basic, horizontal micro-coils.

Any thoughts on that?

Oh my. It does seem a bit finicky doesn't it? That makes me a little nervous, for what I have coming. I am sorry you had trouble with it. Yes, I don't care for screw on drip tips. I'd rather just mix and match, as I see fit. I don't think delrin will bother me, especially since I'm new at it. I think almost all the tips I have here are ss. One of the cheap Aspire tanks had some kind of plastic though, and it didn't bother me at all. At least it wasn't COLD like some of these are...lol. If you are in the cold, or heat, ss will be a little uncomfortable. But I do like how easy they clean up, and they look good. What type of drip tips do you normally use? I have only bought one so far. The rest are just what came with the tank. The Kayfun I have has a screw drip tip. (or just tip... not sure about the proper language for it) I don't know about adapters to change from the screw tip, to normal. When I get my Aqua2 in, I will see what I think about it. If I don't like it, I guess I will have to get that adapter too. Thank you for the initial review. You and Retic can be helpful to me when I get mine in. I have a feeling, that I will have questions, and partial panic mode going on.

It's voltage drop..Different attys will have more or less voltage drop. If it's more than .5v or so..don't bother using it.

Wow.. my A+ vs your B-

Is there any more proof required for a different strokes for different folks type scenario?

Differences in our experiences:
* I did not have any issues taking it apart and putting it back together.
* I bought directly from the manufacturer and included the 510 adapter, SS driptip and a Nano tank kit with my original order.
* Figured out quickly the best way to wick it.

Since then, I've been experiencing absolutely wonderful performance and no leaking from my ErlPrinz.
