Have any of you found that different attys seem to draw more battery power than others? I have the ErlPrinz built on 28ga, 1.2 ohms. Same gauge and ohms on the Veritas. Yet the ErlP is draining my battery faster than the Veritas? There's no short in the ErlP coil as far as I know. It's the third coil I've had in it, and with all three there's noticeably more battery drain. I run the Veritas at 15W, the ErlP at 12 - 12.5W. Both are single coil builds, basic, horizontal micro-coils. Any thoughts on that?
Sirius is right , compare the two with your multimeter , put the leads on the posts while you fire your mod , take care not to short it though .

Oh my. It does seem a bit finicky doesn't it? That makes me a little nervous, for what I have coming. I am sorry you had trouble with it. Yes, I don't care for screw on drip tips. I'd rather just mix and match, as I see fit. I don't think delrin will bother me, especially since I'm new at it. I think almost all the tips I have here are ss. One of the cheap Aspire tanks had some kind of plastic though, and it didn't bother me at all. At least it wasn't COLD like some of these are...lol. If you are in the cold, or heat, ss will be a little uncomfortable. But I do like how easy they clean up, and they look good. What type of drip tips do you normally use? I have only bought one so far. The rest are just what came with the tank. The Kayfun I have has a screw drip tip. (or just tip... not sure about the proper language for it) I don't know about adapters to change from the screw tip, to normal. When I get my Aqua2 in, I will see what I think about it. If I don't like it, I guess I will have to get that adapter too. Thank you for the initial review. You and Retic can be helpful to me when I get mine in. I have a feeling, that I will have questions, and partial panic mode going on.
Nuttin to panic about ! Piece of cake . :)

and the wheel is still round and is still working just fine :)

And, went through many iterations as well to make it a better performer. You don't see too many cars with stone or wooden wheels now do you?!

Ofcourse, stone wheels are great for grinding grains and wooden wheels have their uses as well. It's just not as mainstream anymore..

Check the juice channels going up to the deck. Sometimes they are cut so shallow, that there's barely any clearance for juice to go up them, or air to come back down. Take a microfile to them, right at deck level and deepen those grooves.

Under closer inspection, I noticed some pretty significant differences between both KFM clones. The Ivogo has larger juice channels going up to the deck, about double the size of the Infinite. Also, the Ivogo's lower channels have been drilled all the way into the base, creating round holes which are absent from the Infine version. I imagine juice gets trapped there forming a mini vacuum that prevents it from feeding right. Anyway, I ordered another Infinte clone already. I'll probably use the Ivogo in dripper mode from now on. It's weird how these clones can look almost identical, yet be so different.

I didn't get my Aqua yet, this was the other tank - the ErlPrinz. The Aqua doesn't come with a drip tip, so I picked up a couple of new ones. I have stayed with SS and found that I prefer the wide bore. I did get one that's brass made by Vapelyfe ($8 from Vape Royalty on sale) that I'm really loving. The Aqua doesn't need an adapter, it takes a standard 510 drip tip.

The Kayfun 3.1's I have for you still have the drip tip adapters, along with their threaded drip tips. So you will have options there. :)

And like Retic said, don't be nervous. Fiddling and figuring things out is actually a fun part of the hobby. As long as you have a working tank nearby to vape like crazy when it gets frustrating. ;)

HAHAAAAAAAA. You got me. That is what I get for looking at too many things at one time. I got confused. I am 55 now, so I guess I can use that for an excuse. I didn't realize the Aqua2 came without a drip tip until today. DANG. I have one drip tip that I have bought. I like it okay, but it is a little wide for me. I have it on my Nautilus Mini. I think I will try the Vapelyfe drip tip. I hope I spelled that right. So you have adapters too? Awesome. I am going to look for a drip tip or two then. I hope the Aqua2 takes almost all drip tips. All I've had is standard tips that came with the tanks, except the one previously mentioned. It is 1cm across the top, but it seems to narrow a bit towards the bottom. It is not a shorty either. The exterior diameter is huge compared to a Kayfun tip. The inside of the new drip tip I have has a narrower hole at the bottom, but real wide at top. It takes a little bit of getting used to. I guess I have had it a little more than a month now.

Wow.. my A+ vs your B-

Is there any more proof required for a different strokes for different folks type scenario?

    Differences in our experiences:
    * I did not have any issues taking it apart and putting it back together.
    * I bought directly from the manufacturer and included the 510 adapter, SS driptip and a Nano tank kit with my original order.
    * Figured out quickly the best way to wick it.

Since then, I've been experiencing absolutely wonderful performance and no leaking from my ErlPrinz.

No doubt about it! And I readily admit that some of these issues are my lack of familiarity, and that I messed up the re-assembly. I will get better at it. We can't all be perfect right out of the gate. Ahem.

For flavor, vapor, and all that, this is a great tank. Outperforms my Kayfuns by a lot.

For clarity, this is an authentic ErlPrinz, not a clone. Vapor Shark is an authorized reseller. They just don't have the accessories yet. The Kayfuns had threaded drip tips and needed an adapter too, but it was included. As it should be, IMO. I'm not happy that the airflow control ring doesn't work to completely close it off. That would help with filling while I practice getting it built well so that it doesn't leak without closing the AFC.

Disclaimer: Just my opinions of my experience so far. :)

Screw the chimney onto the deck of both clones and look down into it to the juice channels. Which one shows deeper grooves now? That is the one that will wick better. ;)

The original KFL's also have a little circular depression right at where the two juice channels meet. It's for juice to collect before heading up to the deck, and is required. It almost sounds like the Ivogo is an exact clone, which would also mean that it's channels will be quite shallow right at the top of the deck. Please check and confirm.
