I knew it would be big, I just need to figure out how to do a basic dual coil build on it I guess. Just frustrated me because it wasn't what I thought I ordered. I don't have anything capable of sub ohm right now, probably would choke to death on it anyway lol.

I just googled pics of the 28mm and there's still only 3 posts. I wonder what you really ended up with? Maybe it'll be wonderful and you can say you got it first!

I have to say, I hope when the 28 gauge nickel gets here it's better than the 30 by a lot. A tad over 24 hours and I need to change the whole thing already, as weak as this wire is there is no way I'll get the wick out and another put in.

Yup I'm gonna start with just a single coil for now til I get this thing figured out. Definitely gonna have to get a bigger mod eventually haha, but spent all my vape money already for the next few weeks. Oh well, gives me something to use to try the DIYs I make for now, I think hubby is gonna end up liking this one more anyway, he keeps looking at all the crazy fancy builds

It's a million times easier Sam. I've gotten the wick out occasionally. If I clip it down to the coil with nail clippers and gently pull. How did you enjoy your veritas build?

no... I have the 22mm and it has 3 posts the cloned 28/30mm has 5 posts....

if you have the patience... you can squeeze 8 coils into that puppy...

It's a huge pain in the ascot....

I am still not convinced I like the nickel wire at all. It's hard to work with and I am not getting near the flavor and kick off of it as I do off of the kanthal.

This is requiring a lot of patience just to build 2. I can't imagine 8. The posts are quite close together and making it difficult for a basic build, I can't imagine a fancy odd one

If I ever get some sleep today I need to recoil, and for now I may just put kanthal back in it for now.

Got it built, gonna mix some juice after brunch.

For some reason once I wicked it went from .1.2 to 1.5, never had that happen before. Must've pulled on it a bit too much or something

I wouldn't know where to begin on that one. It is way above my skill level. Good luck with it. Personally, if it wasn't like the pic you ordered from, I'd tell them to replace it. That deck just looks downright intimidating to me....rotfl.

Single coil. Air draws across coils. Variable Air Flow preferred. Under 20mm in diameter, yet room to work inside. What am I looking for ?
I really like the RM2's, and I might just get the LP RM2. I also like the BF Veritas that Chowderhead sent me, very good. I am loosing patience with the Kayfun, as I don't seem to draw hard enough for the "Sucker Feed" to work properly. (you suck, it feeds. poor design.)
The new Woods will be available within the next 6- 8 weeks, and I will be participating. Hey, it's a Reos ! Might even go for a Resin Reos as well. But these newer mods are going to feature the 'Low Profile' juice wells. I guess not to many are using the same atomizers / cartomizers we were all using a few years back, no need for the juice well any more. Sooo.. I will be thinking of expanding my RBA assortment to match these LP Mods coming out.

What PG/VG level juices are you trying to use on the KFL, Papaw?

30/70 PG/VG. Can't go any higher on the PG or my sinus allergies will go haywire. Thinking of getting a set of miniature files and opening up the feed tracks, although that would also effect the vacuum level.
