I don't think air flow is the problem. The wicks dry out way to easy anything over 8W. Nine watts or more I have to primer draw or just draw harder than I am comfortable with.

Well you could add a few drops of vodka, before you vape it. Don't put it into your main bottle, just the tank. Sometimes I just close the air hole with my finger, and do a draw on it to pull it in a little more vacuum, now and then. But the Boba's really needs the vodka, if I am running it in the Kayfun. Otherwise it is rough going.

Yea, I'm guessing the KFL doesn't do well with heavier e-liquids. And I can't go higher on the PG....

Look into how much wick you are using... don't use too much. I've been vaping 30PG/70VG without having wicking issues and usually I'm using about 11-12.5w on my DC output devices ( DNA types ) on 1.4-1.8Ω coils... With my PWM devices, when I used them, I did have to use lower outputs in the 6-9w range or I got burnt hits.

Now you're speaking a language I don't speak. Try - "ProVari", as in P2 and P3. Same results both mods.

Question, and I'll check back later to see what the 'experts' say.... Single coil. Air draws across coils. Variable Air Flow preferred. Under 20mm in diameter, yet room to work inside. What am I looking for ? I really like the RM2's, and I might just get the LP RM2. I also like the BF Veritas that Chowderhead sent me, very good. I am loosing patience with the Kayfun, as I don't seem to draw hard enough for the "Sucker Feed" to work properly. (you suck, it feeds. poor design.) The new Woods will be available within the next 6- 8 weeks, and I will be participating. Hey, it's a Reos ! Might even go for a Resin Reos as well. But these newer mods are going to feature the 'Low Profile' juice wells. I guess not to many are using the same atomizers / cartomizers we were all using a few years back, no need for the juice well any more. Sooo.. Papaw , I'm not sure I follow you here , under 20 mm is Kayfun mini or Spheroid territory , as in Ego sized . Are you looking for a dripper or a tank ? I've never had an issue running 100%VG from HHV in my 3.1's but I wouldn't think of running Clay's 100%VG in them , I'm not in favor of thinning out juices , if I can't run them in a tank I switch to a dripper . Have you tried using rayon or ... cotton in the KFL or different wick placement ?

I wasn't paying attention when I ordered, threw it in the cart because I'd heard the name and knew several people on another forum I trust said they loved it. And wanted to start mixing all my diy juice stuff, but needed a new dripper (last one died in a freak accident with the basement floor) So this thing has one post in the middle, 4 around that one. I can handle single and double coils but how do I pick which ones to use for that, and do I just leave the other ones sitting there with nothing? Grr grr grr must pay attention before ordering next time

No problem Always . The center post is positive , the 4 surrounding it are negative , you attach all coils to the positive post in the center and to your choice of any of the negative posts around it , hope this makes sense to you .

Out of my original post I've gotten a lot of advice on the Kayfun, but no suggestions on RBA's
There will be a Woodvil Run soon, joined / followed by a Resin Reos introduction. (BOTTOM FEED). There are several people, Rob and ReosMods and Tom at Catfish Atty Mods, that are converting popular dripping attys into bottom feed RBA's.
Has anyone here tried the Derringer or the Marquis yet ?
P.S. I just sold an old BF SS Hornet for $50 without even trying, so there is a market out there....

Hudson, that just downright stinks. I can't stand people like that. I got scammed once in a similar situation. (not vaping though) I was fit to be tied, as my mom used to say.
