Extended warranty?

Just a little sarcasm, though if someone really wanted an extend warranty I'm pretty sure they could get one for $279 ............. ;)

Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying my ZNA and actually like having more battery options. I just wish Mike hadn't promised something that many of these units clearly don't have. How many ZNA owners who think their devices have reverse battery protection are going to find out that they don't ..... the hard way?

Its just the bottom of a screw, most will not be perfectly flat or square..
Is you want the atty to sit flush, back out the screw in the top cap, secure the Atty flush and tighten the screw insure contact. Or take the screw out and find something to grind it square, careful not to take too material off out you have more of a problem that you started out with..

So I take it as a no...

As posted in the ElectroNicStix Zna Forum:

Fellow ZNA owners:
Starting April 11, 2014 the ZNA will begin shipping with a fully adjustable 510 connector featuring solid copper contacts. Prior units can be upgraded for a small charge.

Wife just got a new ZNA (yay don't have to share). Thought you guys might want to see the new adjustable top cap. Also the wattage buttons are now silver colored metal. There pretty clicky. Honestly I think I like the black buttons better because there less likely to get accidentally pushed but the new ones are not to shabby.20140405_134836.jpg20140405_134905.jpg20140405_134847.jpg20140405_134913.jpg

Top cap seems the same. Just looks like you don't have to use a 3/32 hex. Looks like would have the same issue with top not screwing all the way down. Is that the case, or is this the fix we have been waiting for?

P.S.

I would like the clicky power buttons...

No its totally different, I'll take better pic's tom. On the bottom there is like a brass nut that the 510 screw threads into. Honestly I've never seen and adjustable top cap like it.

So this is the fix? You can place your topper all the way down flush and screw the 510 all the way down to the tube cap with not threads showing?

I see Electronicstix.com updated there system so now if you have bought one from them before, they won't let you buy another. Should make it a little easier for people who want one. Just check there facebook everyday, they post updates when they receive stock, they usually post between 2-5 ish.

Yup this is the fix. Pretty ingenious if you ask me. Never seen an adjustable 510 like it (no to say there isn't one out there). The pin that conects to your attys connector has flat head slit in it so you can raise or lower it from the top (its hard to see in pic). On the bottom there is a pressed in brass nut that the 510 screws into, but no matter how much you adjust it it will not go past the brass nut.
