ooooh this is tough, after all the commercial juices (halo turkish gets expensive :p), gifted tanks, drip tips, used cartos... lets see over 2 years I'd have to say about $1800-2000. After I started DIY juice my spending went down a LOT. I won't say its for everyone but now I'm staring on rba's. I'd like to see at least 3 months this year where I don't spend anything on ecigs and I've yet to stray from my ego's !

I posted earlier but I thought I'd let y'all know of this place I found that doesn't have a website but do take orders over the phone. Its Vape Revolution in California. Sounds like everyone here is into quality so I figured I would mention them. Also, before I bought my roller by Atmizoo from them I thought I was going to have to order from overseas because nobody in the states had one that I could order...until I found Vape Revolution. They just had like a blog or something and talked about their brick and mortar store but they had a phone number on their blog so I called them. Out of everyone I had ever dealt with they were FANTASTIC! I couldn't decide between the roller or 69 mod and they answered every question I had and helped me make up my mind. It was like striking gold. Pretty much if its quality you want and you think the only way to get it is to order from overseas then you should call them. 1 562-653-4730 that's the number. I live in Florida and my roller came in 3 days from California.

I haven't had any PV's go belly up except for one eGo C that I dropped and messed up the button on, but I think if I wanted to take a few minutes, I could fix it. I keep hearing about batts dying and PV's breaking and I think, "Wow, I must be really lucky to not have anything break or die in nine months!" but truth be told, I think it's because I keep buying new stuff to try before the old stuff has a chance to wear out. I've had twists I used pretty much all day every day for seven months that are still going strong. I have very few things I regret buying--mostly too many plastic tanks for my eGo C since I switched to clearos pretty quick. A couple of juices are ones I wish I hadn't bought. But I use all my PVs, so no regrets there.

I started vaping on January 10th of this year. I made up a vaping diary spreadsheet when I started to keep track of everything. I have spent $436.59 and will break even on July 9th, if I don't spend any more between now and then. That is a possibility, as I recently purchased enough wick and wire to rebuild my vivi attys for the next couple of years, and enough DIY material to make around 90oz of juice. I only smoked 7 analogs per day, so it makes my break-even point really hard to get to :). I can spend another $426.06 this year and still break even. My goal is to spend a lot less than that. I may buy a second vivi kit, and might need to replace an ego batt, but other than that I should be good to go.

I spent a lot at first, going through cheap MODs and expensive juice.
Now I'm using an AGA-T and an IGO-L (tank and dripper RBAs), sitting on a years worth of RBA consumables for $25. And I my juice is DIY.

My vape expense is now at 25¢ per day. Unless my main and my backup PVs fry and/or my batteries, I won't have to buy anything for 6 months. But it doesn't mean I won't

Ah, man, I can't count. It's actually worse than I thought. It's been 8 months, not 9. $607/8 = $75.88/mo. Crud.

Congrats on getting verified! Feels good, don't it ? Use your new powers wisely! :D

Even if you live where analogs are cheap that is less than 2 cartons a month, which I know I would have smoked twice!

Wow! Such different experiences than mine. I've been vaping for only a month (11 days w/out analogs), and so far I've spent $80, but that includes 2 eGo batteries, 4 Ce4's clearos, charger and 40ml of juice - 20ml of which I still have. I'll be ordering another $20 worth of juice in a day or two; after that arrives, everything should hold me for another two months. Approx. $33.33/month. Seeing as I was spending $150/month on death sticks, I'm already way ahead.

I've been vaping 6 month's and have kept log of everything vaping related on an excel sheet. Of every single purchase I have made in that time I've spent $1459.22 to date. Compared to how I used to smoke I've found I've only saved $300 to date over my older habit. But that is all good because my health thanks me for it, and I know I would not go back to smoking analogs even if/when I quit vaping. At this point I am done buying mods, unless something really game changing comes out. My last mod purchase was a Provari and is where I will stay for a while (I have 5 other mods as backups). I have recently experimented with and am now doing DIY, which is where I expect my savings to really begin. Spent $80 in DIY (nic fluid, VG, flavorings) which should yeild about 750ml of juice. In 2013 I expect my savings to be huge compared to what I've done every year prior for 28 years.

In short starting out and experimenting what is right for you can be expensive, but not much more so than the stinky habit you came from. It's a matter of time before finding that spot IMHO is when the real savings begin.

I just took an estimate on what Ive spent in the last 8 months or so since I quit cigarettes and I basically even. Ive spent about 180.00 a month and its just about what I spent on cigarettes. Im sure I have probably spent more, but with selling the things I dont use anymore etc. I think im finally at a set up that is perfect. I have 2 MODs and 2 good atomizers (RA) I didnt count the juice because that is something that will always be needed. Its a long trial and error, there were some misses, but with this site, It helped to have all the threads and information to make good decisions. Im waiting on an amazing MOD and that will finish off my major purchases.

I will probably sell one of the MODs I have just to balance things off. Im happy and my lungs are happy too.
