I r
what are you using for a mod? if its a mech I'd say 4 wrap 24 gauge does a great job, if its a regulated device I love a 6 wrap 26 gauge at about 30 watts. both dual coils. first one is for flavor and clouds, second is for flavor although there can be some decent clouds but nowhere near the 24 gauge
I run a kbox mini I find 10 wraps at 26 to 30 gage dual is good for flavor. Still experimenting though. I tend to find using around 40-50 w gives a nice warm cloud with good flavor.

I'm a big fan of the K.I.S.S. principle. (Keep It Simple, Stupid)

I only make simple coils (spaced or compressed, doesn't really matter). I've made some exotic coils before (I used to work in a vape shop), however I don't particularly enjoy making coils like some people do and don't see the point of exotic coils. I just want to vape.

I used 28 gauge kanthal for years, and have recently tried 24 gauge kanthal. I think I'll probably prefer 26 gauge as it should be more versatile for my needs. I vape around 30 watts on a regulated mod or a mech.

Generally I make two 1.2 ohm simple coils (0.6 ohm total) on either a Velocity clone or Patriot authentic. I use Rayon for wick; I feel it lasts longer than cotton and I don't get any of that "new cotton" taste with a new wick.
