I did the same thing tk my ipv Mini, i just wish i could polish it a little more so it doesnt looj so scrathed

you can. I am not a pro or whatever but there are polishes and things like 000 steel wool, super fine sand paper that can bring it to a mirror if you wanted. I just wanted to quit getting black flecks of paint all over everything lol. Plus my IVP4s in on the way!!

I actually got it running super smooth the other day. Running at .3 ohms and yes I had the wick tucked into the channels. I am going away from micro coils from now on. That seems to be where I get issues. Now that I had it nice and smooth...I broke the dang glass tank!!!! Got two more on the way lol. Killing me

I've got mine at .8 and 35 watts. 28G KA1 at 2mm dualys. Makes some decent clouds and it's smooth like butter.

I absolutely love how easy it is to build on the velocity.

Got some new ones for today

First up is a 4 wrap coil clocking in at ~.13 ohm made from 2 strands of 26awg twisted together and loosely wrapped with a 30 awg strand

Up next is a pair of 26/28 clapton coils, clocks in at ~.34 ohm:

And finally this monstrosity, single coil made from 3 strands of 28AWG kanthal hand braided together, comes in at ~.53 ohms (and I'm pretty ****ing surprised that this actually fires without any significant hotspots):

Moved to Coil Builds

26 guage Nichrome coils. 14 wraps each. Comes out at 0.70 ohms.

First time using NiChrome and the difference between it and Kanthal is amazing.
