Actually, when the flavor starts to diminish, just add a few more drops of liquid and continue using. Depending on the juice you are using the carto should last you several days. When I first started vaping I generally got 2-3 days from a carto. I am now using a carto tank and generally get a week or more out of a carto. You will know when it's time to replace the carto when it no longer vapes well or the flavor doesn't come through right.

I just started using a carto tank and used vivis before that, so I don't have a lot of experience to answer you, but I will say, you might want to go do a search on YouTube for a guy named pbusardo. He's a guru of juice....but I remember seeing one of his videos about cleaning a carto and reusing it. Like I said, I know nothinggg, nothinggggggg...about cartos, but I know you were talking expenses, maybe that can help some, don't know. Even if it doesn't, his videos are fun to watch, at times are very amusing and always informative.
