Someone needs to create a miniature paint mixer that will work with bottles of juice and see how that helps with the steeping process. Wonder if placing them on a washer/dryer might have a similar effect. lol

I've mentioned this before on this forum, but it's called a Vortex Mixer if you follow the link you can see how they show someone holding a test tube on one, they're not exactly cheap.

Well, use the blender as an agitator, not as a blender.

If you could modify the blades to become some sort of holder for a bottle(s), the act of spinning itself could mix the juices, while in the bottle.

Edit: To add, you could even pour hot water in around it (as I've noticed that people like to use hot water baths for accelerated steeping).

I would fear that this method may actually be counterproductive. It may act similar to a centrifuge and actually separate the different liquids as opposed to mixing them. Please feel free to try it out yourself. I would love to be wrong!

Here is a significantly cheaper one-

MX-S Vortex Mixer

Yeah this small labware has to be shopped for, even at a low price when you actually see what they are you still feel like you're being ripped off. Look at simple magnetic stirrers, simple a speed controlled motor with a magnet, and you'll see them listed for hundreds of dollars. Still I don't know If I'd even spend a C-note to mix e-juice.

Unless you can make the bottle move in a couple directions it will probably be a centrifuge. Although personally I've been thinking I don't want to vape anything that is not a solution, meaning it can be mechanically separated.

OK, so i tried the Blender experiment , here is what i did.

Step 1. 1.jpg

i taped a bottle filled with pre made Double RY4 (30ml ).. to the blades of my nutri bullet .

Step 2. 3.jpg

I attached it to the nutri bullet after adding some hot water.. (not boiling ) ok... i think im ready...

Step 3.4.jpg

ok... im gonna press it down now so it starts spinning... cant wait to see what happens!!!!!

Step 4. 5.jpg

Disaster!! what a freakin catastrophe.. lmaio.. i was like oh no!!!!!! the bottle freaking blew up the moment i pressed down on the nutri bullet.. maybe the nutri bullet was way too strong for this experiment ( no shiii ) the thing is that the nutri bullet doesnt have any setting to make it go slower or anything like that.. maybe with an older blender or maybe a state of the art blender that can go slower or something...

or maybe even placing the bottle on top of a blender while its turned on might help... making the bottle vibrate.. all i know is that this didnt work.. and i lost 30ml of my beloved DRY4.. owell.. it made me laugh .. moving on.. and just in case your still wondering... NO, this didnt work. lol

When I had mentioned modding a blender, I think I had something a little more sturdy in mind than tape, lol. But, I applaud your effort! It's one think to talk, but to walk, that's when innovation is created :)

Perhaps if there was a way to exchange the blade, or, weld/attach some sort of sturdy cup, or cage in which the bottle could be clamped in (to prevent escape even at high speeds). The cup/cage couldn't really leave too much play, else the bottle still runs the risk of exploding (the cap at least) via smacking against the cup/cage. A cage-like cup would most likely be best, so that if you wished to use hot water, there is easier access to the bottle, rather than having to worry about how well the cup is conducting heat to the bottle itself.

Sounds like a hassle. If I had any experience doing any of the things I just said, I'd give it a shot.

We have these tables at work, used for jogging up paper stock. I strap a few bottle on an give em a ride for about 45 min. Seems to help speed up the process for me.

I had another idea. Just mixed another 10ml bottle of RY4, and I've been shaking it like crazy. One of the things I do when shaking is grabbing it by the cap (child safety cap) with my left hand, allowing the weight of the bottle to hang. Then, I take my right hand and twist the bottle part hard, allowing it to spin.

I wonder, could someone rig a hand drill with a clamp of sorts to hold the bottle bottom, and while holding the cap, giving it a consistent and violent (lol) spin?

Edit: Or, if you had a large enough chuck, I suppose you could just clamp in that.

ummm.. im gonna try the blender idea.. lol.. with hot water... that might be a great idea.. lol

who knows right..? have u guys tried this? or the dryer?

I mentioned this before and got ridiculed, but I often mix, hot water bath and shake then ball the TIGHTLY capped bottle in a sock and put it in the dryer for a half hour or so. I have no idea if this in fact does anything.....but it makes me feel like I'm doing something magical lol...

Ridicule happens a lot around here.. Usually done by the clueless!

Mixing is always better than spinning! A dryer would mix.. a drill would spin

hey glass.. im not sure if 0.5% would do much but its worth a try.. i know u like your flavors nice and low on percentage.. but remember it has to steep... and dont tape it to the blades of your blender..lol (i know you wouldnt im just crackin a joke to my expense)

if anything this experiment was worth a try.. now im thinking about sticking it in a dryer.. but i dont have one.. i bet it works though.. i reeeallly wish i can get myself an ultrasonic cleaner.. they seem to work.. i was just at walmart picking up groceries and vg... and noticed the paint mixer while i was grabbing an air mattress .. i said man that might work.. but we would need a mini one. And i also think that shaking would be better.. but all i have is stuff at home that will spin.. not shake.. i dont own a vibrator. sorry...lol

but seriously.. what if i did make the drill mod.. and then turn it upside down while it spins.. then turn it back up.. then upside down again.. same thing isnt it?

I do remember that M-type is almost too strong for me at 0.5% while you and Levitas just slurp it down. I mixed up several bottles of Double RY4, and a few other things at 0.5% and I'm gonna go from there. My ultimate goal is a good Menthol with a hint of tobacco in the background.

i thought 0.5% was your regular percentage.. your gonna mix menthol with DRY4?
