One of them. The LG is very good, almost neck and neck with this one:

I personally burn off an extra 1ml on average running my dual coil setup running the Samsung's. Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh

I burn about 4ml out of my bottle before having to change out the battery but with the Samsung sometimes I get 5ml. Both are really good though, I use them interchangeably.

KP also has them in button top but I think they're a little bit longer.

MNKE 1500mah packs a hard punch but I haven't seen one in higher mah yet?

I have all the top brands and so far I think the Samsung's and LG's have a superior mid range hit. I cant find any charts on the flashlight forums to back it up. I based my opinion on how hard a battery drives my dual coil .4Ω setup. All I can say is you "will notice" a harder hit in the mid range.

Sony VCT5 come off the charger hotter than anything else - Samsungs and LG's will kill them for the next 10 laps.

Sony's seem to loose steam after the initial peak.

I know its a loosing argument because I've been through it before. (The ratings are higher) All I know is I have them both and have done my own testing with my own setup and I prefer the Samsung's above all. YMMV I don't have the time or the equipment to back up my claim so I'm done here.

Figures lie and liars figure. A little tweaking of the numbers will sway many people but real world use plays more into what I'm looking for. Case in point why does a aw 1600 mah work better than a 2000 mah. Because it's how you look at the numbers. And there are those who will believe one is better than another so strongly even tasting the difference won't sway them. Thanks Puppy!

That is an easy one... The 1600 is a far superior cell to the 2000 for high amperage. This has been confirmed scientifically many times. Honestly if you want to expand your working knowledge of batteries check out "Candlepowerforums.com". I was a flashlight geek long before ecigs. Two years ago the AW1600 was untouchable for high amp draw devices. It is still a solid choice but there are longer lasting (higher mah) offerings that have come out since. The Sony VTC5 comes to mind first as far as I am concerned. I also have tried orbtronic SX-30 and while they work great and have great specs my chargers choke on them (half cycle resistance spike and gives a false "full charge" on both my Pila and mt VP. The Sonys have never done this, the SX-30s do it almost every charge, they have been retired after a very short career (3 weeks, 20 cycles each)

The LG HE2 is the core cell for many of the OEM models: The Efest Purple and the EH purple for example. It's a good cell.

So, I didn't know the purple Efest's/EH's (are those actually different brands?) were re-branded LG's. Guess it wouldn't hurt to pick up a few purple Efests. I do like my 1600mah 30A Efests, they work well, just for not quite as long as I'd like. Purples seems like a good upgrade to me.

Same experience (most times ) on my Xtar 6...awesome batt when you can get past the charger shut-off but kind of a pita.
