Apologies if there is a better section for posting this, please feel free to move it if appropriate.

The news is that Liberty Flights have come to Australia to set up shop. In doing so they have put a stop on Aussie vapers purchasing from the US or the UK LF sites. If we want anything from LF we will need to deal with the Aussie arm of the business. But it doesn't stop there, it seems we are to be charged vastly inflated amounts on the gear we currently purchase overseas. Here is a comparison to give you an idea of what is going on:

1x ego ce4 starter kit
LF US price - US$27.99 (AU$31.42) plus shipping
LF AU price = AU$75 plus shipping

1 x 10ml xo liquid
LF US price - US$5.65 (AU$6.34) plus shipping
LF AU price = AU$25 plus shipping

These are simply the facts. It seems we are being royally screwed and the Aussie vaping community is not happy. Why have we been singled out for such blatant price gouging?

This has stirred up a degree of anger on our main Aussie forum as you can imagine and the response from LF seems to be that they do not really care about our concerns and some members on our forum have been threatened with legal action for some of their comments. Is "Big vaping" starting to emulate "Big tobacco" now? Market domination and price setting by the big players?

We know where to get cheaper alternatives of course (for now) but that is not the point. This rough trade and and would appreciate your thoughts and comments about what is happening.

Cheers from Down Under.

Steve
